Had an amazing time at Singapore last week! I got to spend some much needed quality time with my best friend and surprised Lissa for her birthday! The bonding time was just what my soul needed. It’s so hard to carve time out for friendships at this phase in my life. Responsibilities, work and family take so much of my time. But I believe that we have to make space for the things we value, even if life gets in the way. So when the opportunity presents itself, grab it!

Lastly, when I got home, it was time for Scottie and I to write our letter to Santa. We do this yearly and I cant wait for Sevi to join our little tradition next year too. He was very specific with what he wanted. Mom hack! It’s an easy way for me to find out what gifts I can get him for Christmas, especially when his uncles and aunties ask.     this is one of the greatest struggles i have encountered since high school. it all began when some people judged me for applying for a scholarship i "dont deserve" because my family can pay the tuition fee for all of us. until today, (21 y/o and in college), my peers would often tell me that they feel jealous of my dorm and allowance. they would also tell me that i should just stop comparing specs because i can always ask for the latest iphone versions.

    however, no one appreciate how hardworking my parents are. no one understands that we only see dad once a week at most. they do not get why i try to maintain my scholarships and the hardwork that goes with it. nobody understands why i still keep an excel file to track my finances.

    one of the most irritating things i have also heard was when i refused to overspend for the day and said "wala akong pera". this person pointed at the bills in my wallet and said "meron pa". yes, may laman ang wallet ko, pero hindi lahat ay para dyan. hindi ko rin naman ako dine-deprive ang sarili ko.

    i feel sad that i am not brought up unless the topic is about academics or finances.

    i think i did not fully express what i wanted to say..

  19. you know kryz mahirap talaga mghandle ng family and household so take it easy on yourself alam ko nabalance nyo na ni slater yan wats nice about u guys is tye communication also sgro ininstill nyo rin sa household nyo ung mga ways nyo so as to ur kids kaya theyre growing up so well. but I loved ur all black outfit in sg with shades so beautiful kryz. btw I missed Sg na suoer loved the hawker food and the coffee❤❤

  25. Girl, cut down sa nanny mo, you can do with just one. Malaki na si Scottie. You can manage him alone. Also you need to work hard if you want all the designe4 bags, shoes, and fine jewelries you’re wearing. Double2 pa sa katawan mo mga jewelries.
