Rise of kingdoms is already a crappy version of clash of clans and call of dragons is a crappy version of THAT so nah ion play call of dragons 💀
I am really liking the game so far. did not play RoK but i think this game does have longevity

Idk if its cause im used to ROK, but im not a fan of the graphics of COD. There's too much going on with the roads and the tree shadows. And there's like 3 types of creatures roaming around instead of straight up barbarians lol
First, saying that the leveling system is more or less the same as in RoK is an overestatement, kind of find it hard to believe that you didnt mention that the skill lock feature in RoK, which btw is very bad, is not even implemented in Call of Dragons.
Second, just as there is no that many events yet, they sure will come, but along with more systema thrust me, its the same company. In the future the game will get to have its own version of thr Armaments that we all love.
Third, just the fact that they have the audacity to put a cap on how many gems you can farm daily is a slap to the face, for how grindy it is, they should not put that, everyone that wants to go through the pain of sitting and farming for hours should be let to do so.
Anyone considering playing that game should consider playing something else, or at the very least, not give them a single cent.
The story and dialogue it’s brutal. Yes. But I always hit auto and play RoK while it play in the background. Sometimes multitasking it’s easy.
I have been playing Rok since 4+ yrs in different kingdoms and several accounts.. and had quit the game once for 4 months or so earlier. But yesterday I quit both RoK and CoDr permanently .As a f2p and casual but daily logger had been playing both games but rl work and issues adding difficulty to try and compete like the past. I liked both Rok and Codr. But then it became boring too and lost motivation. I did enjoy playing Rok all these yrs and the community stuff. Graphics Gameplay of Codr is awesome and I'm glad I tried out that game during season 1. It's much better than Rok in gameplay but RoK have served us well all these yrs. Thank you and all popular RoK influencers for guiding us players..
I got bored of it after a few weeks . It's basically Rok with a new theme.
I deleted the game yesterday. It is simply impossible for me to play ROK and COD. And COD does not give me any enjoyment. boring game, battle game mode is very monotonous and boring.
This same start as rok, they will destroy it with crystal tech or city level 30, this upgrade of art of conquest game
honestly a huge issue I have with rok, is that it's old af and players have been min maxing since a long time ago which means for a newer player it will be incredibly hard to compete I mean just look at it, people make jumper accounts with which they get a huge advantage over every normal player, before they even start the game they are outclassed

As a full F2P that played on a top clan/alliance the game isnt for us. I did min max everything I could, we did the bosses took the pass first, I did every event I could. I even got the luck that they deleted the atk / def bonus buff and they retrieve gems for each item (So we did a lot of merit trade to get them). We got a good alliance with other top clans so I could grow super calmy. AND EVEN WITH ALL OF THIS the gems you get just doesnt match your needs. Or you go double tech and 0 spins/ legendary hero for wars until season 2 (WHICH SUCKS BIG ASS) or you go big dick and pick a good wheel hero with no tech vip so you get even more behind. And im not even talking about artifacts. The game is just not F2P low spender friendly.
So for me its a NO GO, because I WILL change of game. The KvK system of this game isnt good for me either.
Now this doesnt make the game bad. Its the best Kingdom Builder right now because of innovation, and not for the Hero concepts, the "kvk" or being F2P friendly.
This game just give this game genre amazing ideas
1: Active skills where you toggle and aim
2: Behemoths
3. Ranged combat: Even if I dont agreed with some balance stuff like the archer being the counter to mage and mage just kill of the archer with the longer range. Having range combat is a nice upgrade.
4. Race/type special troops and bonus (and we could say balanced… meh)
5.- And the best of all the innovation this game did for me its the roads. OMG I love roads. How much better would be Rise of Kingdoms with roads? A lot.
6.- The graphics are a nice upgrade for the genre, fights feels fluid, unbalanced but fluid.
The big boss : "FREE HOSPITAL" this is one of the biggest step this game genre needs to do. Free Hospital its a need for our fun
Imo: Call of Dragons its a game I will not play again for balance reasons. But I will be grateful for what they did to this genre.

It would be nice if they made a couple of servers with no in game purchases.
The game is cool and I enjoy playing but there are already people in our server that are 30m+ power. We haven’t even unlocked t2 passes.
Hey Omniarch! Hope you get to spend some time in the game next season. It’s a lot of fun and after playing it extensively this past season I have to say that it’s not like RoK at all.
There’s so many different war, combat mechanics and limitations that it is an entirely different game altogether. I got to play beast master and have to say that was one of the highlights of this season for me.
You still have the drama, political intrigue and the community that RoK is known for.. I personally find CoD player base better overall. I look forward to more CoD content from you!
ETA: yes you can move the behemoth on the field as a beast master and it adds layer of complexity to the battle.

Is WorldofWarcraft mobile? Because your criticism of the characters and comparisons fail to take into account the limitations of rendering on the mobile platform. Yeah, there is a reason computer graphics kick butt. 🙂

Agree about the aesthetic of the heroes in CoD – they are ugly. RoK is more cohesive in that sense. Story elements, map, and some gameplay systems are better in CoD, but not enough to make me jump ship beyond my time checking out season 1. Equipment and armaments in RoK are better long-term.
Alistair's eyepatch, btw, is because he is a blatant rip-off of the Hound from GoT. Same backstory, similar attitude. I picked that up when skimming the 9,999,999,999 dialogues.
This game would be pretty good except for some weird things. In the span of one week I was in 2 alliances that were both pretty good, they had about 100 members in each, they had lots of research done, a fortress, about 20 towers and lots of roads. Out of the blue, the leaders suddenly, without any warning or word, dissolved the alliances. Iv’e never seen anything like this happening before in any other game. The biggest problem is that I got put on this server where almost everyone on it speaks some language, I think either Malaysian or Indonesian. I have to translate every single message in chat and it’s a major pain! I cant change servers until I am level 16, and then it’s a pain in the butt to do

Not gonna lie.. CoD seems to have found a decent balance between whale and F2P playerbase.. The game also seems fun and playable even if you're F2P.. the big issue here is to get a good guild.. So far Guilds break or make the game. I hope it stays this way or would even get even a slightly tick better for F2P..

I still play rise of kingdom got like 5 servers in rise of kingdom but a lot of server's in call of dragons which is definitely one of the best games on the planet hope we get new factions like in Warhammer or like in Warhammer troy
Puls vikingrise is also a good game to play as well
CoD in my eyes only a tr of lilith to make money and more money which one was successful at beginn, and failed later

The LORE is so underrated. There is so much more than just human, orcs, and elves. There are sub-races like the satyr, tavrosi, the grayclaw clan, etc. I am one of those people who enjoy the lore so much. I'm waiting for the new lore in season 2.
The stoey was actually so good. A lottle flat in The end but overall very good and i was ao happy it was lal voiced over. I just hope they added more strategy wih more troop types….. Something to make it like you have a choice on what you train and what you use vs just spam training the same ttoops with no choice

What will kill RoK is the developers adding so much bs and no changing anything events are the same everything getting harder if you don’t spend honestly I’m thinking about quitting soon no having much fun with RoK
This game sucks.Reseting everything and start from scratch, lvl heroes and artifacts from 0, not gaining CP from nowhere to help lvl commanders, only buying with money, farming gems is a nightmare. the events are a bad joke…The merits is encourajing easy kills, aka farm killing…Don't recomand playing this game.

Why they making a city builder sim with wars have a huge story anyway, we play RPG's for that where choices matter like Mass effect or Kotor or even Zelda or final fantasies (Choices not mattering in those last two) sounds weird that they injected so much into this. Just from the traveling system we see in RoK, does anyone ever actually read any of that? I can't skip fast enough. And for awhile we didn't have a skip button so i'd just slam my screen till its over.

its fluid and graphics are better because RoK is 4 years old….and half of these implementations were things requested of ROK.
when i die in ROK im dead in p2w phone games…which is basically all phone games…..
i miss subscription based gaming…now subscriptions are just a portion of these games still…30d gems supplies…blah blah blah
I actually like the story/lore and interaction with characters in this game. It keeps this from being just another point and click while being destroyed by people with no lives outside of mobile gaming. As a low spender in this and Rok, I look forward to the universal legendary heads at VIP 10 Rok has so I can save them and throw them at one good march later. Knowing the this game only uses token for ones you already have (and will be trash later) kills the day to day enjoyment. Why level up heroes now that will be useless later on.
