I’ll have a video on Clowney done in 2 days. Currently on vacation 🙂 ❤️
Man this dude used to be crazy good
Nah..bro wasn’t w the weird shxt the nfl do….hence y they took him away from LA bc they didn’t want him havin success…..bc star players don juss plummet like that 🤷🏾♂️
Twenty minutes to say he hurt his knee.
Why is the title ‘the biggest mystery’? Bro literally blew out his knee how long did anybody believe he’ll last?????
Sec running back in the NFL is D hardest job, anything over 4 years is a blessing.
He should join the XFL
Watching Gurly on Georgia Bulldogs I thought he was one of the best RB I'd ever seen. His nickname from me the 'Gurly Man'!
He going to be a saint…watch
He got injured, it’s not that confusing
What is the golden rule? Don’t over pay for running backs
Still one of my favorite 💯💯
Ah, Hershel Walker, it's not to often in college you see a player who looks like a man playing with kids
This is extremely a sad story he was one of the best running backs to play for Los Angeles Rams.
Thank you Todd Gurley. Class act. You will always be remembered as one of the great Rams of all-time like Eric Dickerson, Steven Jackson and Marshall Faulk. Great company.
I met Todd Gurley when he was a freshman playing for Tarboro High. From what I experienced by meeting him he was a humble first class human being. He also lived up to the hype by playing and performing injured. Great Man from an unlikely place!
Good video Mike
Dude got paid, good for him. All first round RBs should ALL be 2yr w 3rd year option. 2nd round 3yr w 4yr option. These dudes get used up. Create starter bonuses for some of these positions. Or a % of snaps bonus. And remove the franchise tag for this position.
We all saw Gurley's unfortunate decline in 2018 when he turned into the Rams version of Blair Thomas . He was fun to watch and it was sad to see but I bet his mom isn't struggling anymore. Good man… I hope he's not in any pain due to the knee. Nicely done Mike. Thanks
The league is tough, the running back position even tougher!
Scary gurley
This happens in big time sports. Lots of guys have a health issue that ends their career early.
While it sucks, let's not forget that he made probably 60 million at least. Although his knee is a problem, his short career should cut down on the other football related long term injuries. So long as he has good financial advisors, Todd and his family are going to be very well off, It's not the worst ending ever.
Having arthritis in his knees, he's lucky he was even in the NFL .
If you're a RB in high school or college with pro prospects, switch to WR or make sure you tell your coaches you don't do workhorse carries (if you can, go to a school where you won't be used as a workhorse). Work on your blocking and passpro, route running, and pass catching. The age of the Superstar Running Back is dead, there are no star running backs anymore and no, 1000 yards does not mean a RB is a star. RBBC is the new wave. Be selfish, protect yourself and your interests and your wallet. Don't kill yourself for these coaches and fans who just want you to run yourself into the ground then will discard you the moment the injuries come. They want you to get hurt after 4 years, they talk about it online all the time.
"4 years, possible tag if they're that good but otherwise draft their replacement if they decide they want to leave in FA or want to be paid more than what we feel they deserve."
Take care of yourself first and foremost, fuck the coaches and the fans.
It wasn't a mystery lol!
I can’t believe that this happened to him such a bloody good sport and a damn bloody great guy Todd Gurley was prolific and I’m praying he put money aside for himself and family ATLEAST half that 45m Gaurantee he had
Injuries crush dreams! 😔
I mean, if I made the NFL as a RB coming from poverty, I would play a few seasons, save and invest my money, and then retire at an early age. Like, Andrew Luck is probably the smartest man who played in the NFL and retired at the early age of only 29. Your body can only take so much. Especially as a RB. You might be big n strong now, but every single one of those hits you've taken in the NFL while being young is going to take a toll on your body when you're older and your gunna end up having nothing but issues with your body and the way its healing. Maybe he's just really not wanting to play anymore..
Concussions…they don't know how he looked on the sidelines
Bro had 857 yards and 12 td’s that’s still a solid ass year lol wtf 😂
This video was way to long for a 5-7 min story at most…
The NFL didn’t hurt Gurley, Georgia hurt Gurley……He came back to early because of pressure…. Georgia abuses their backs while their QBs always absolutely suck… HOW do you continuously find yourself in NCAA playoff picture, because You beat down the BLACK RUNNING BACKS, and keep awarding the NO-COUNT WHITE QBs like Fromm, Wright, Bennett, period. And thats why most GA RBs fail, because they’re used completely and totally up by the time they get to the NFL…
RB's have quite the lengthy history of falling completely off the moment they get paid. might be why alot of teams dont wanna pay their RB's. who can blame them? the minute you pay a RB, their own knees get into their heads and then theyre done. no attempt at changing the approach, just flat done
Had he went back hed have a ring rn
The punishment for him making money on signing a few autographs and memorabilia is why college football is where it's at today. If the NCAA wasn't greedy for so long calling themselves a nonprofit, some of these problems perhaps could've been avoided.
You know you’re breaking huge when you top Cooter coming out of your hometown…..HUGE

I just loved watching him play football as a running back. He was my favorite player to watch back in 2015-2020 when he played for the Rams. I wish he was back in the NFL. A shame that organizations decisions fucked his career. He could have a super bowl ring if the Rams organizations didn’t cut him in the first place.
He was 1 of my favorite backs. Hopefully he can shake back
I hate this 😭😭
I can relate, not to being even close to a professional athlete but the knee issues. I dislocated my knee at 14. Went back to the doc at age 23 and the progression of arthritis was ridiculous. They said I had the knee of a 50 year old and I wasn’t even crazy active.
Todd put too much mileage on his knees early in the game 🤦🏾♂️
I'm at a complete lost for words. I recall how odd it seemed when his playing time with L.A. was severly reduced and the severity of his injury was anyone's guess. Hopefully he has the mental strength to embrace what has transpired in an effort find peace.
I wish that young man well. From the interviews I've seen of him and the humble man he seems to be you wish nothing but a happy life from here on out. Like other people have said I hope he invested his money and didn't blow threw it like a lot of other players have in the past .
I thought he had arthritis in his knee. That why the Rams let him go.
