in 42 my grandfather said he was in a plane fighting in 8 weeks after fighter pilot training. imagine flying a fighter plane in 8 weeks.
For two planes to meet at the exact same bit of air at the exact same time is *incredible*. For that moment to be over the Grand Canyon is truly hard to believe.
