  1. Fun fact: Ashes the cat is a reference to the nursery rhyme Ring Around the Rosie. Which is turn was about the bubonic plague. Try and guess what social experiment Vault 81 was meant to be.

  2. With the introduction of Nuka World, it's a shame we didn't get the Nuka Cola guy from season 1 & 2 back. True, he was blown up. But like the Storyteller said, people in Fallout survive through almost anything. Kinda wish he returned as a brain in a jar on a robot body.

  3. Episode 12 is probably where Shoddycast was beginning to show that they had kinda written themselves into a corner. Which is why Season 4 is considered the weakest of their series. Instead of having it be a rescue mission that takes place alongside the main game, Tanner is already free and has been with us since the beginning.

  4. fun theory: its believed the first co operation with a cannine was a wolf and was a lone wolf for whatever reason without its pack somtimes they got kicked out and he was likely strugging to survive as wolfs are pack hunters and need teamwork for bigger prey and he came across a early human hunter and possibly a few more of his tribe and a kind of wordless symbiosis formed as the wolf could help them track and corner there prey and after the kill they let the dog take his cut of the meat gradualy the animal began to trust the hunters and see them as his new pack and moved closer and closer to the tribe camp until it became part of the tribe and even raised its young there when another wolf joined and the pups they had had would have been way tamer and used to people than the parents and gradualy over generations of that domesticated breeding we got the modern day dogs.

we eventualy figured out how to breed dogs too which lead to the little guy in your arms he like my families dog is a product of that first symbiosis between our 2 species.

with cats its believed tobe very different we started farming and rodents came for the food we grew and the cats followed the movement of the prey straight into our early farms killing them as they naturaly did and the farmers noticed this and saw the cats as a blessing even thought gods sent them so they did what anyone does when they prayed they left a offering which was normaly food and the cat being a animal hung around because of this increased food source and gradualy entered our homes but remained the hunter it was its children were more used to people but it didnt happen the same as dogs for what reason im not sure.t they then traved on boats to different parts of the world and like always followed the rodents.

  5. As far as I remember, Daisy was never evil. She was hacked by the Vault Dweller either in the town they picked her up, or later during their travels, can't quite remember.

  6. T'was a bit of a chuckle to introduce both those things at once without any build up and straight into a double cliff hanger. Is a double cliff hanger a thing? Because it should be, if it isn't. I'm sure they'll go over their stories in the next couple episodes though.

I like the Ranger's appearance, fits her perfectly, didn't even remember the ranger helmet that she wore last season until you two mentioned it. Thought she just always looked like that.

  7. It was actually more like Cat's domesticated humans unlike with dogs, they got more out of it in the end. We got a deterrent for disease-carrying pests stealing our food while cats got.

To settle on six other continents besides North Africa where they are originally from, many of which had no competition for how efficient the feline hunter is

Proximity to humans granted them better territory that we weeded out other animals that had similar hunting patterns like foxes and raccoons

Free food to entice them to hang around and protect our crops and grains from pests

Cultural depictions and historical significance granted them "pretty privilege" so much like dogs humans internalize that it isn't okay to harm cats whereas the more intelligent and likely more sentient pig is open season, basically by becoming subject to human bias they are made even more safe, fed and privileged

The symbiotic relationship to the bacterial parasite Toxiplasmosis, transmitted to humans through cat waste that literally makes us humans more fond of them and even brainwashes rats for them

  8. Show is about stories being told. Answers are going to be coming up. I hate how rushed this season was, but i enjoyed the conclusion.

Incidentally, raiders have a peculiar sense of fashion. They wear things to make themselves look (in their minds) intimidating, crazed, or powerful. This includes mascot costume parts, leather fetishwear, rusty metal, sports gear, and carnival masks, and even decorative applications of blood, oil, and rave style blacklight body paints.

I think you should try to play through some of the games. You'd probably enjoy them. I actually have mods installed for the Old World Radio station, and have the Storyteller and Edna as npc's in my game, along with another YouTuber named Oxhorn who does Fallout lore. I have them set up in the school i built so they can teach the students to learn from the past 😅 Here's hoping for a better future!

I actually only found this playlist a couple of days ago and just caught up with your most recent video 😋 Hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
