The Story of Vanessa & Vanny Explained (Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach Theory)

Two of the most mysterious characters found in Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach are Vanessa the security guard and creepy dancing rabbit Vanny. These two are actually one and the same, and in this story explained video for FNAF Security Breach we trace Vanessa’s origins and how she gained such a creepy and seemingly evil alter-ego.

  1. Just wanted to pin this comment as I see some people are confused about the 'fire' ending – where we see Vanny die, while Vanessa remains on the roof of the Pizzaplex. I already explained this ending in my story explained video for Security Breach but for those who missed it – given all the other evidence in the game suggesting Vanessa and Vanny are the same person, I think we can safely conclude that ending is symbolic. It represents how Vanessa's soul was never set free from Glitchtrap's control and so she remains tied to him in the pizza plex. It's just showing that she was never saved.

I also want to add that this is my interpretation after looking at all the evidence and coming to conclusions after careful consideration. But FNAF is full of lore that has never been solved and fans interpret in different ways. So I think if you're watching this video, just enjoy it for what it is. A theory I wrote based on the evidence and how it makes sense in my mind. If you have a different opinion, I don't want to say you're wrong. We just disagree. That's fine – go with whatever makes the most sense to you 🙂

  2. I think Vannessa was the Tape girl. Additional extras in Special Delivery and the CDs allude that she was the one that compartmentalized and broke Glitchtrap into pieces before she was corrupted and engaged in a fight for control. There's a reason those tapes are not in order. I think Glitchtrap got to at least three people. Jeremy, Vanessa, and our MC in help wanted. Jeremy offed himself, Vanessa became Vanny, but we don't know what happened to the third person. I think that's the other person in the Security Breach therapist CDs. That third person is who helped Vanny hack Fazbear's systems and allowed the Glitchtrap malware to infect the entire network. Someone in IT had to have turned off both the network's Firewall and allowed the code's ID to be able to be overlooked in the various system scans until it was too late. Because there is no way someone of Vanessa's level would've had the clearance to mess with the network settings.

  3. I like that this games story seems a bit more easy to figure out compared to most fnaf games since so much of fnafs story is so confusing while the story of this game seems a bit more easier to figure out at least in my opinion

  4. I'm so happy that your hard work is paying off! Your videos are so high quality, and interesting! I appreciate you going into so much detail about the characters. I wonder what Gregory's actual story is though. It seemed like he knew way more than a homeless kid should have. I wonder if he is linked to anyone. Maybe to Henry? That seems very farfetched, but I still wonder.
I had previously thought he might have been Michael's son (that he probably had no knowledge of) from before he suffered his fate at the sister location.

  5. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who saw the Vanessa’s fake family history and Williams own family connections. As soon as I heard the take where the therapist called out Vanessa for the lie my mind immediately thought “wait is he using crying child or Elizabeth’s story” because surely the fact that one is completely oblivious to everything and one is aware of everything. I get the impression that CC was the child used in the custody

  6. Great video like usual. Though I'm pretty sure only one ending is canon and the others are put in there as extras. But let's be honest once DLC is made it should help make things more clear on Vanessa and Vanny and some other things. Along with giving us more questions too I'm sure.

  7. This video was amazing, Everything makes sense and I see more, than I was able to before. However, I don't really think the ending is that… It has to be in a way that they can continue it. So I think, the good ending and the Afton ending is not at the same time. They are separate and maybe I could be wrong, but I think the Afton ending is the actual canon one. I know it's just a little detail, but if we look at all the endings, all of them was drawn or told in a comic, but the Afton ending was actually animated. This can mean something… or again I could be wrong, please can you confirm that for me or I'm just talking rubbish?
