  1. ngl i saw this video and the title hooked me, then i realized it was a top down auto-shooter and lost interest, was really hoping for a survival deep rock game where you just had to survive as long as possible without the problem of risking lower loot from dying in the base game

  2. "All that for one bit of nitra" you shut your mouth I can't count the amount of times one piece of nitra would have and has saved my ass.
In all seriousness this game looks like a hell of a lot of fun and I thank you for sharing your experiences with it.

  3. i could see this working really well with a "Nova Drift" style upgrade system and weapons/progression, along with it changing to more of a twin stick shooter style

  4. for that ending bit
I think what you mean/want is the overclock system, more specifically the balance and unstable ones which can drastically change how the gun works

  5. disappointed is a strong word but i expected something more than just +x%, i hope they tune the game some more to make the upgrades more interesting. drg is such a great game, more of the franchise is always good, rock and stone brothers

  6. 7:40 Its very likely that they will add multiplayer. The developers, Ghostship games are all about making great coop games thats their identity and DeepRockGlactic itself is based around multiplayer.

  7. The video would be so much better and more entertaining if you'd pick different weapons and perks every run so we could see the variation the game has to offer. I'd leave a like if that was the case, but alas – the first two runs were the exact same build and that's boring. The third was different thankfully, but they didn't offer the same guns so it wouldn't have been possible. I kept thinking that I'd love to see how a certain weapon worked or even just something different. Just to wind up seeing a repeat of the same thing. That's the main piece of construction criticism I have if you even give a sh*t about what your subscribers think. Switching it up every time for the sake of the viewer would bump up the quality of the content 💯.

Anywho – game looks pretty cool. I agree with you about the perks being a bit too tame. I also like having really interesting, fun perks that drastically alter your character. Instead of those boring and basic stat increases. Have a good day! ✌🏻

  8. The tentacles are called stabber vines. They usually grow ing groups of 3 and they move their leaves in order to stab prey that comes close. They then use the rotting corpses they make as fertilizer.

  9. They could add vertically to the game, with one ditch level and one level above, a jetpack as a meta progression and would help you get out of a pickle but have limited fuel per floor

  10. I keep noticing people are accidentally skipping the supply drop, or grabbing it without realizing it. Perhaps they need to give it a glowing outline as well to make people want to go toward it more.

  11. Honestly I want them to include and overclock equivalent with unique upgrades as well as very high positive with negative upgrades that appear either rarely or in their own designated “ovrrclock” slot when you get a level up

  12. "We lose a little bit of the DRG identity"
    YOU DON'T SAY

What the hell were they thinking to make a board game and now this lazy shit? It's not a franchise! What's next, DRG monopoly?

  13. 2:43 I was looking at that special material and wondering what it is. What special minteral in DRG is red-yellow? And then facepalmed when the popup said bismor. Duh sure. My brain couldn't process that it's bismor because it wasn't a cube…

  14. So it loses everything that makes DRG interesting (mobility, build interactions, co-op support, actual shooting) and doesn't add anything to make it stand out in the genre.

It seems so basic that if it wasn't DRG related, I'd dismiss it as another lazy project in about 2 minutes of watching.

  15. yeah i was hoping this would be more of a twin-stick shooter.
The only thing from bullet heavens i actually do like is the upgrade system, i think its a pretty clever idea. But the auto gunning kinda makes it too mindless.
