One such invention mankind loved to take with them for generations is clay bricks and clay products.
Clay is one of the most versatile materials that can mold into anything our creative minds can imagine. It became one of humankind’s favorite materials to create products.
For centuries, we have been using architectural products derived from clay to create mesmerizing structures to keep us secure and comfortable. A need for premium, creatively designed clay products has multiplied over the past few years.
Thus, leading the way for Nuvocotto – a brand that bridges the gap between traditional clay tiles and innovative products for architects and designers who value sustainable creativity.
The journey of Nuvocotto began in the South Indian1 city of Chennai in the year 1999
From the beginning, Nuvocotto envisioned a world where premium clay tiles are available for the admirers2 of clay products, architects, and designers who love sustainable creativity.
With a presence across India and UAE, including four direct outlets and more than 40 channel partners, we constantly innovate ways to bring clay products to every corner of the country. And buying clay products is an exciting experience.
In our 23 years of existence, we positioned clay tiles from mere a functional product to the first choice of creative designers and architects.
Nuvocotto became instrumental in bringing3 out the real creative potential of architectural terracotta4. We set trends in the Industry and introduced interesting products, by listening5 to the needs of our clients. Nuvocotto Jaalis is one of the best examples of this.
Due to the lack of pan-India availability and information gap in the industry, clay tiles were region bound. Through frequent training programs for installers, workshops for designers, and knowledge-sharing programs for students,
Nuvocotto bridged this information gap. Nuvocotto made sure clay products kept adapting to changing needs of the market. We think from the perspective of designers, for example, we provide 2D and 3D drawings of our products to designers to make their lives easier.

To promote innovation with terracotta products and give visibility to young designers, we conducted terracotta design awards in Association with various design communities.
The vision of these duos and their team transformed the face of the clay tile industry forever. Both in the products and the shopping experience.
