Ok so Doctor Strange in The Multiverse Of Madness is now out and throughout this video weāre gonna be breaking down the ending, explaining the cameos in it and also giving our full review of the film.
Once more we are back with the Doctor who makes you forget rather than being the Doctor you forgot about. The film follows him as he goes toe to toe with Wanda in the Marvel Magic version of Civil War and we culminate with him meeting a brand new character that teases an upcoming threat come the end of the film.
Thatās as far as I wanna get before we go spoiler heavy so if you havenāt had a chance to check it out then check out now. There will be no memory spells from this point on but please hit the thumbs up button and donāt forget to subscribe for unforgettable breakdowns.
With that out the way, thanks for clicking this, now letās get into Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness.
Ok so the movie opens with Defender Strange attempting to protect America Chavez from a giant demon attempting to steal her powers. Attempting to get to the book of Vishanti, this seems like the only way to stop whatever it is thatās chasing them. Incase you donāt know, the book of Vishanti in the comics is described as being a text comprised of pure light that has the ability to counter itās opposite The Darkhold. Wanna got her filthy little black fingers on this during Wandavision and we learn throughout the film that itās slowly started corrupting her over time.
Now America has similar powers to how she does in the comics except for she canāt really control them here which becomes a big character arc that she goes on. When feeling scared her powers come into affect and sheās able to open up multiversal portals that appear like stars, similar to the source material. However she hasnāt quite come to grips with these yet and the movie actually paints Defender Strange out as quite a bad guy because he tries to kill her in order to strip her of these powers early on. Much in the same way that the MCU one said he would be happy to sacrifice Peter and Tony to protect the timestone in Infinity War, this guy literally says āf**k them kids.ā However the demon stabs and America manages to escape into the MCU main universe along with Defender Strange who dies just after freeing her from itās grasp.
In the film we learn that America got scared once by a bee and she opened a portal which sucked her mothers through. America believed that this killed them however Strange does say that he thinks theyāre alive which is in keeping with the comics.

The demon in the beginning battle, looks a lot like the aliens in Edge of tomorrow.
I wish the movie had an extra hour and half just to fill the action in I still believe it would have been an amazing movie at 3hrs / 3 1/2hrs long.
This movie was a waste of 2 hours.
17:31 i'm not even sure the dr. strange that collapsed on the street screaming is the same dr strange we see walking later when Clea finds him. Would be a strange choice of editing if it was the same character but a long time later where he 'mastered the eye' off screen.

Just because America Chavez says food is free in every universe doesn't make it true. Clearly she was wrong in 838 when she helped herself to the pizza balls. If she had just kept walking then I suppose she would have gotten away with the food without paying, but that isn't the same as "all food is free". I just think she doesn't stick around long enough to find out she was supposed to pay. Probably in her home "Utopia" universe that is the way it worked and she just assumes it is true everywhere.

Loved this movie. Wanda and Strange are my favourite characters in the MCU so I was really looking forward to this one. I had high expectations and this movie lived up to those expectations and at some points even surpassed them. My biggest gripe is that I wanted more.
Why was Reed Richards' body made entirely up from his uniform? You'd think if he was made of flesh the stringy rubber bands he's turned into would include blood and bones

I believe thanos was missing the mind stone in the clip that showed him laying dead, so maybe there was a Vision in that universe
The plot was kind of a stinker. No character development. All connect the dots action.

Would like to have seen strange and wong face off against wanda instead of them just running away
I think Marvel did a bad thing entering the multiverse. It actually means that every movie is just a happening in one or more universes inside the multiverse. So in this movie, Dr. Strange actually timetravelled into the future where 'he' went into a universe where he was consumed by the darkhold. At the end of the movie, it shows him being in a universe where he will be turning into the version where he got consumed etc. etc. While the Scrarlett Witch had 'Deleted' the Darkhold from all universes. So wtf? This is a ongoing infinite loop. Will they now be making a movie where — the Darkhold consumed — Dr. Strange makes his way f** up the multiverse with bringing back the Scarlett Witch? It makes sense. Yes. But does it add to the story? Mnah. So if this enteir movie is a alternate universe, then the movie actually is a bit useless. It actually is a filler. omg.. LETS MAKE A MOVIE TO MAKE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS GUYS. MARVEL. This is why I love DC. DC actually makes a straight line when a movie is in fact played in another universe. Such as the Batman movies. Different stories, different Batmans etc.
I've started to dislike Marvels way of working after infinite war. Marvel is just messing things up. And not to be sexist or anything. But the way they thought of making women more important in the movie like they did in The Multiverse Of Madness, was just a pathetic try to make a more diverse casting of important characters. Like the way all men of the Illuminati group got destroyed in seconds, whilst female captain America and the other woman were actually putting up a fight. And the storyline of Wanda and "HER BABIES" was so stupidly bad evolved..
Seriously guys. S.W.O.R.D., S.H.I.E.L.D, Defenders, Inhumans, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Jessica Jones, Punisher, Black Panther, Guardians, Ant man, Spider-man, Thor and all other different plots, universes and characters, the "inclusions" of these movies with eachother. I mean what in the actual F*** is going on over here?
