Side note. Bo Jackson has refused to sign that image for a long time. He had a falling out with the photographer. Signed copies are uncommon.
I’ve got a Nike Promo Bo card that I can’t find anywhere on the interweb. Want to see it? I’ve seen posters but not a card would love some help finding out more about it
Nice
Yeah Tampa Bay did Bo dirty they caused him to be ineligible for his final baseball season in Auburn
At the card show in Atlanta in 1990 from day 1 this Bo card traded for 6.00 and everyone was ripping the boxes for them
It wasn’t an insert.
Well, that's not the story – when 1990 Score dropped Beckett said that card was short-printed. I believe the story they ran was that Score had not gotten permission to use the photo and stopped producing the card soon after printing began. (I was a little kid when this happened but thats what I remember) The card was probably $25+ in Beckett, but then plummeted as it was revealed the Beckett story was a lie, to hype the produce probably.
One of the greatest throws to home in history but never captured in video. 🤘
Always one of my favorite cards. I still have one.
