Sokolniki is the first and the best ! =) Thx for video, Russell, you are amazing!
The long yellow 'bars' akong the far side of the tracks—–is that the third-rail power supply? Because otherwise, I do not see any other evidence of one in the form of an actual rail.
Vodka, balalaika, matreshka, ha???)
Moscow metro vs New York city? Which one wins?
Russell! I am glad that people get relaxation. According to all the canons of the wild nature of Russia! Thank you, you! A wonderful report!
I like this trip sitting home at my PC. 🙂 Thank you.
7:31 This is a room for smoke protection, if there is very strong smoke, you can hide in it and wait for help by pressing all kinds of fire buttons to call special services
Rizhskiy vokzal (Rizhskiy Railway Station – trains to Latvia and Riga's direction) is closed for renovation starting from 1st of March. That's why there are no people near the building
That emergency room was cool. Russia really knows how to make good public transportation!
34:23 those lines are made for blind people to walk where they need to
I’m a Moscovite living in Sydney. Your videos make me so nostalgic and proud at the same time. So sorry that such a wonderful and rich in all senses country can’t sort itself out once and for all. Can’t we just all be friends?
perforated lines are for the blind…
Hi Russel, I would like to correct you. Jagermeister is German degistif made by 56 herbs and spices, not beer. Otherways, amazing video!
Perforated lines on the floor is for blind people
Thanks, Russel, for a tour! And what about stations with tracks on the middle of a station and on the sides: stations with tracks on the middle are called "banked" design/type ("берегового" типа) – just like banks of a river, and with tracks on sides of the station called "isled" design/type ("островного" типа) – just like an isle on a river.
Wow , basically it’s a city underground
I wish we had this kind of subway in Toronto. It takes years to build one station in here.
Russel, that things on the floor it is for blind people. It is points the way for them. Environment like this called in Moscow “Dostupnaya sreda”.
Thanks for a very interesting review! It's a kind of surprise to see such a great video about new stations from American 🙂
orc chariots are very technological, but still without toilets
