The Stealth F-35 Killer that No One Saw Coming

In 2019, the NATO alliance was rocked to its core when Turkey, after years of tight-knit military collaboration, threw a curveball by importing missile defense systems straight from Russia’s arsenal. The United States was taken by surprise, and fears escalated that these Russian weapons might double as Trojan horses, spying on the highly coveted F-35 Lightning II that Turkey was on the brink of acquiring. In a move that sent shockwaves through the corridors of power, the US then yanked Turkey out of the F-35 program.

Staring down the barrel of a $1 billion loss with no F-35 to show for it, Turkey didn’t just lick its wounds; it decided to roll up its sleeves and forge its own destiny. The TAI Kaan marks Turkey’s audacious bid to join the elite club of nations capable of designing a 5th generation fighter jet that could go toe-to-toe with the best. The Kaan, a titan among jets, is engineered to dazzle on paper and in the air, boasting cutting-edge stealth capabilities, blistering supersonic speeds, and a silhouette that overshadows the famed F-35 Lightning II.

As Turkey’s pride takes to the skies for its maiden voyage, the world watches with bated breath. Will this ambitious underdog transform its sky-high promises into reality, or will it falter, a mere shadow of the American engineering marvel it seeks to rival?

  1. Is it comparable though?

    Like actually?

You read the Turkish press reel but it'll take more than that.

Looks at hype of Russian equipment pre Ukraine. Sees their new international military orders in 2023 drop to just 3 countries.

    Are we sure?

  2. High speeds at 425kph. Not for jets.

Also the F35 saga wasn't just pulling the rug out from under Turkey, it was a months long saga and they knew if they went with S400 they'd lose F35 beforehand.

Looks at the performance of S400 in Ukraine.

    They chose poorly.

  4. "Up to 8,000 feet and 230 knots…" Wow that can almost compete with a turboprop. I think we're gonna need some actual data before we believe it can "rival and surpass the F-35". This is some of the least skillful propaganda I've seen in a while.

  5. The B35 Kamakhazi is the greatest failure in the history of Military aviation 25 years past it's delivery date most are unusable and those that can actually be used make 16% line ready. US 6th Generation 😂 you can't get anything to work. Russia has had the technology to destroy Stealth for over 20 years. And the F22 Craptor the biggest failure of them all. Israelistan openly admits it can't even pay for pilots to fly the Kamakhazi 20 million per year.

  6. Soooo…we are supposed to believe that Turkey making mostly an F22 clone jet is somehow on par with the F22 or F35 on their first attempt EVER in making a fighter jet??? Pretty sure it's NOT an F35 killer!!! No one saw it coming? Really? Sooo who exactly is "no one"? Russia and China with their shit radar??? It wasn't Europe or the USA!!!

  7. Test of the pudding: will China & Russia buy this plane? Tbh I'm not impressed with a "comparison" that does zero objective comparison with f35. Is engine domestically sourced? How many hours is it rated?

  8. So, Turkey assembled it but bae and other countries companies designed it all!
Turkey couldn't do it on its own could it! They paid overseas companies to make it so they could put it together. Israel would have sold them expertise and equipment also. Israel sold the plans of the upgraded F-16 fighter to China good friends they are. So, don't claim they did it on their own with enough money they just bought a different and would think lesser plane.

  9. Did those air defense systems get delivered? If yes that would be hilarious. Seeing how horrible that gear turned out to protect itself let alone other objects 🤣
Especially since Turkey is in deep economic trouble 😂😂
