Am I crazy or does Dean sound alot like Chris Gore?
I guess comics became so political that they made everyone based off a politician not a hero nor villain.
Question for buying issues that come pre signed how does that work for if I want to get it slabed as a cgc signature series?
Respects to Dean Cain, but I always found it funny when devout religious people played characters that didn't fit into their religion. Like Kevin Sorbo playing Hercules.
Dean and Gabe – real ones.
Rippa got Superman own his damn show?? What??? lol People are gonna hate Rippa even MORE now, and by people I mean Vito The Pedo & Dick Masterson.
Just ordered your book Gabe….thanks to you and Eric for once again igniting my love for comics!
Dean Cain is a great actor i also grew up watching him as Superman ❤ great seeing him here and you need to get him back again Hail Dean Cain
Fantastic to see my superman. Absolutely loved the show. Terri Hatcher was a fantastic Louis lane.
Dean Cain was my Superman growing up. Never missed an episode of Lois and Clark. That show needs a complete series blu-ray release.
Dude, props to you Rippa for getting Dean Cain of all people for an interview! Haha dang I gotta go back and watch Lois and Clark now! I vaguely remember the show but no time’s better than now to get back into it! It’s great to see Dean get into the comic book game! Need more projects like that from him! Great stream Rippa! Hail to you sir and the Rippaverse!
The summary of the comic kinda feels like it could share 1 or 2 similarities with Eric van Lustbader's Nicholas Kinnear series – kind of a mix between Scott Adkins' The Ninja 1 and Crying Freeman, except the Nicholas Kinnear character is a secretly trained ninja in current day (of back when the novels were originally written) and some minor mystical ninja arts aspects mixed into the elements of the story which leans more into a thriller/mystery genre – the kind of stuff 80s/90s American made ninja movies used to highlight.
From what I've seen of that art and the description of the comic, it seems to lean more into a Miami Vice/Tropical Heat/Grand Theft Auto kinda of feeling?
Would love to join as a writer or artist
epic stream rippa. keep it up. I would like to see you get Mark Millar on. Maybe Drinker can set you up!
i know, its weird.. i was watching the series when i was 10 years old in 1995.. now i am 38 years old, it really feels like 28 years vent by in blink of the eye…
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE seeing VOLUNTARYISTS winning!!!!!
Great interview!
Great chat Dean Kane for his day was a good superman . Granted the visual effects weren't top notch but the stories were very good authentic superman stories . Plus Terry hatcher was a still is very beautiful . Great Lois lane . I bought the collection on DVD and re-watching them currently
My 2nd favorite SuperMan behind Reeves
Thanks for Alphacore Eric. It's amazing 🙏
Huge respect to you Eric, Dean, and Gabe. Eric, taking a look at your approach and even though I didn't know of you until 2015, it's 100% an easily copied approach and style. Will it work for everyone, or everything? no, however there's still a lot to learn from. I love the transparency, the honesty, and that's all reasons I've been doing what I can to support you. Just figuring out my own stuff and how I want to do things, wish I had started working on that back in 2015 or earlier. Hindsight, right?
How did I miss this? He got Dean Cain. I loved Lois and Clark when I was little. I always hoped he would get to reprise his role as Clark.
He and Chris Reeves are best Superman portraits ever
We need Superman on FNT and TNME
Amazing discussion guys, keep up the good work. For Dean, I can only say that he is a Superman and will always be.
He’s in my top three portrayals of Superman. 🍻
I grew up with Dean Cain as my generation's superman and I'm glad to see he's a great guy in real life too 🙂
You guys are making the American storytelling scene exciting again! will be buying whatever you guys make for my bf since he's been very disillusioned with comics lately.
