The Seventeen Service Members of Alton, Iowa Who Gave Their Lives #memorialday #veteran

A celebration of the service members from a small town who laid down their lives for the protection of the freedoms we enjoy. Of the seventeen, eleven of them occurred within a 4 1/2 year time span during World War II. Can you imagine how devastating that must have been for a small community where everyone knows everyone else? Take a moment to hear their stories.
-I’m gonna address the elephant in the room here: I was pushing to get this done for a Memorial Day release when I contracted a nasty head cold. It messed up my voice and had me gasping into the mic while attempting to record audio. I did my absolute best to make it sound decent, but… it is what it is. Sorry!
HUGE thank you to my wife and family for their patience during the long process of researching, meeting with folks, phone calls, day trips and editing this.
