(Yes, right now it’s just me making everything)
Editor’s Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan’s streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan’s point of view.
If you like my edits, leave a Comment, Like, and Subscribe. It helps a lot, thank you 🙂

Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy the video 🙂
37:02 not exactly, right now in Russia, the majority (who watch the state TV propaganda) are pro Russia and pro Palestine (as Russian TV loves to show the policies of two-faced “western world”, however, the so called opposition, or as Putin calls this group “ Russian liberals”, is pro Ukraine and and pro Israel! Many of those are now live in Vilnius, Riga and Tel Aviv 😂 So that’s explains the pro Israel sentiments.
Couple of things about this video Hasan reacts to. It's called a "full scale" invasion. This isn't really true. Let me explain. In a maximalist sense, yes, Russia has a bigger army, and is a more populous country. The video indicates that Russia invaded with an overwhelming numerical superiority.
This is objectively false, and it is extremely disingenuous. Russia invaded Ukraine, with about 170k people, this was a fraction of their total standing military power. This figure itself doesn't really explain the level of force Russia invaded with. Russia has a tooth-to-tail ratio (T3R) of about 1:1.1, or 45%. This means that for every 1 combat soldier, about 1.1 are non-combat soldiers. They do jobs that don't involve fighting. This means, that on the day Russia invaded Ukraine, about 76k of those participants, were actual combat personnel. The remaining almost 100k, were there to provide non-combat support.
Within about a month or so, Russia had increased this number of soldiers from 170k, to about 200-220k. Which means that somewhere around 100k of those were combat soldiers.
Ukraine, over the same time frame of a month or so, reported it had fielded 1 million soldiers. Off hand I do not know their T3R. I would assume it is roughly similar to Russia. This means, that Ukraine had around 450k combat personnel, squaring up against about 100k Russians. Russia had the equipment and materiel advantage. They however, were outnumbered nearly 5:1 in terms of combat personnel.
This is why most people who were paying attention, didn't think Russia was capable of winning quickly, unless Kyiv decided to not fight, AT ALL. This also is why, it is highly likely that Russia believed that Kyiv wasn't going to put up more than token resistance. This is why, later in 2022 when Kherson and Kharkiv were retaken by Ukraine, this was a result of the manpower disparity. Ukraine was able to launch offensives with enormous number advantages against Russia. Russia had two real choices in the face of these offensives. Stay and be destroyed, or run to better defensive positions and shorten the front. This is why Russia, immediately embarked on conscripting around 300k reservists, which was outside of their normal bi-annual mandatory military service conscription drive which is around 270-300k split into two intakes. One in the spring I think, and one in the fall.
This 300k conscription was necessary from the Russian perspective, to address the new reality on the ground. They didn't have the manpower in country to hold the line. Russia has continued to slowly ramp up their combat personnel. It is now believed that Russia has about 450-500k soldiers in country, which would mean about half of those are combat jobs.
As a Ukrainian, my First Thought about this "analytics" was – Lol, they don't even know what a map of Ukraine looks like. Or they know and then they can go suck themselves
gaza has a prison population rate of 100,000 prisoners per 100,000 of national population
Of course the NATO official knew about the invasion before it happened, he himself said later that Russia sent them a document demanding that Ukraine remain neutral and that he himself refused it.
let's get real for a minute
I understand why Hasan argues the way he does and why he has his opinion but the moment a war breaks out in your direct vicinity, your approach and your view on politics changes
he lives in the US, although he grew up in Turkey and Germany iirc, he's safe, there is absolutely no way in hell that Russia dare attack US territory
for the EU and European nations, the situation is completely different, especially if we take into consideration the development of the past 20 years, the EU for the most part tried to build up economic relationships with Russia to get closer (Nordstream 1 and 2, etc.) but Russia shifted further and further away, intervened in Georgia, Abchasia, Ossetia, annexed Crimea, full on invaded Ukraine
we can talk about capitalist 'imperialism' but ultimately the EU does diplomacy, it might be sold on a faulty image of what capitalism ultimately means but it is still peaceful, the EU doesn't kill and displace millions of people through its influence on Ukraine to maybe start talks about joining the EU, Russia does by invading
the outlook for the next 5 to 10 years is seriously dangerous and there absolutely is potential that Putin will attack the Baltic states or Scandinavia next
realistically that triggers one of two scenarios:
A) NATO / the EU as a whole / the most powerful states like France, Germany, Poland, UK respond directly and see this as an attack on a NATO member state, article 5 goes into effect and we have a conventional or nuclear war
Russia cannot win a conventional war but it would certainly 'win' a nuclear war
B) they don't trigger article 5, NATO and/or the complete EU basically collapse because the foundation for these alliances is then history
either of these are real scenarios and they'd have devastating effects on our continent
now factor in Donald Trump and the blatant connection to Putin in past elections, factor in right wing grifters on the rise, most of them at least indirectly funded by the Kremlin, factor in a lack in European military capability, may it be Germany's underfunded troops or the lack of major artillery shell production, factor in the massive advantage of nuclear firepower on Russia's side – you get the idea
the 'what if' on the geopolitical chessboard bullshit is all fun and games but that's not the real world, the second Russia attacks an EU/NATO member state you can be damn sure 80%+ of the European population will forget any of the peacekeeping humanitarian cause shit, it's going to be war then, you fight or you die, that's (sadly) just how this works
so what's better? watch this unfold and escelate into a continental/world war? or bolster up Ukraine as much as possible to make this war as costly as possible for Putin so the signal is clear? I know which of these I prefer, even if it comes at a high cost, I am very sad but that's the only feasible solution right now
I will surely listen to someone who said Ukraine was never going to be invaded by Russia in the first place! Thanks for nothing Hasan!
There was an interim peace deal signed in march ‘22 with Russia agreeing to withdrawal all its troops minus Crimea, for Ukraine agreeing never to join nato. Ukrainian negotiator literally said ‘Putin did all he could to end the war’ and that ‘suddenly the peace process was suspended by ukraine’, although he could provide no explanation for the suspension.
NATO and the u.s. knew Russia would invade because they refused to negotiate with Russia. Even so far as refusing to sign that we would never install missiles in Ukraine. NATO chief bragged that Russia wanted negotiations on nato as a condition not to invade and nato refused as some kind of a principled stance
It's crazy how Hasan will shit talk max Blumenthal like there's anything he's been proven wrong on, I thought Max was an Assadist and a Saddamist not a Putinist? Notice how all the "analysis" from Hasan is buzzword nonsense that doesn't even acknowledge a single fact of the matter😂it's all buzzword gobbledegook ignoring the NGO takeover of Ukraine since the 90s, Blumenthal doesn't support Russia or Putin just doesn't support the Banderite regime the US installed in 2014 specifically to start a war against Russia in a divided eand conquer strategy laid out in many NGO think tank papers since the 90s this insane NATO imperialism live HASAN and libs have is such schizophrenia, their not leftists
It's truly astounding to see how confident western liberals like Hasan STIL talk about this situation & Russia as if they haven't been wrong about everything regarding the situation for years precisely because all their info they take for granted is admittedly from the CIA/Western intelligence, it's truly amazing how these liberals have become mask off NATO Imperialists since this began…Hasan showing where his $$ truly comes from😢
Let's make this whole video without mentioning the purposeful effort to reinstall Banderism in Ukraine to solidify a US puppet state like they tried after WW2…it's truly amazing how much they ignore reality while thinking the rest of the world is as bought into western propaganda as them. I guess Hasan forgot about the last 75 years of US imperialism🤡
Watch how much Hasan polices his tone & rhetoric to be sufficiently pro -Nato Imperialism because he's more worried about losing his out of touch liberal audience that wants him to regurgitate western intelligence narratives like he does on this issues than he is on stopping works war 3 I guess🤡
Why isn't letting the US get away with genocide & endless Imperialism for 250 years not appeasement while doing a peace deal is? Liberals love war & love using other nations populations as suicidal battering rams
Hasan is so scared of being called propaganda Putin hell support literal Hitler loving Banderite's that Canda & Zelensky just did a 10 min standing ovation for a literal Waffen SS nazi😂
Just shy of 4.5% of the world's population, USA, the land of the free, hosts 25%of the world's prison population…
USA is #1 in things that are important…
Let’s Go RUSSIA
Do more research about Russian Ukrainian conflict . Don't know shet about only whatever you get from main strim prastituts media
It's crazy to me that people expect an apology from Hasan for being mistaken with the invasion. It's like, he didn't cause it, it was merely a useless prediction that had absolutely no effect whatsoever or anything at all.
I thought Second Thought was pro-Russia.
Man you hate capitalism but you are happy to benefit.. champagne socialists are a contradiction 😢😮😅
Thank you brother
Russia has taken very little ground and Ukraine is pushing them back in many areas now thanks to weapons arriving not thanks to people as dumb as you. When the Russian invasion began it had 17% now its 11%. Russia has lost much more than 500,000 and all military analysts say they can’t make any major breakthroughs since they didn’t when Ukraine had nothing for six months Russia took a few villages and two small towns that’s a military failure on every level in top of this Ukraine has over a million in reserves it’s basically already over for Russia ever taking Ukraine lol we need and should send much more weapons especially artillery and missiles to protect as many Ukrainians as possible hasan is dumb in this world topic beyond belief and give Putin too much credit as much as he tries not to make it seem that way
Hasan is still super uninformed on the facts, and watching misinformation like this video is a clear indication of why. Not to mention the 6 minute sidetrack back into Israel content even though that's like 80% of his other content these days. He should try having some people with knowledge about the war on sometime to help clear things up for him.
russia attack ukraine, hamas attack israel, russia=hamas ukraine=israel
my balls hurt
Tankie filth
Ukraine actually does want to ethnically-cleanse Ukraine of ethic-Russians. If you look at Ukraine's historical demographics, there were more Ukrainians in Eastern/Southern Ukraine in 1991 than in the first Soviet Census or in the 19th century. Prior to that, the area was controlled by the Crimean Khanate.
Hasan and no thought should tell their tanks audience that NATO is a strictly defensive force and has never made an offensive attack.
So, don't know about NATO-Germany offensive b4 this Russian RESPONSE?
Aware another 10 year war with no peace treaty
Hasan chatters are baby brains. Comparing Ukrainians to Palestinians lmao.
ZZZZ I support Russia. Elensky is a clown.
Funny how Americans try to explain the world to us while we have to live next to the bloodthirsty bear that has been murdering our families for centuries.
Dylan Burn’s channel whatever you think of him, has had an informative background and on the ground experience with this topic more so that either Hasan or JT, especially when Ethan, Lonerbox, and Dylan had their comments on Hasan rather underwhelming take.
This guys narration of the Ukraine's invasion is completely off Hansan. For 8 yrs the Donbass already had been fighting against western influence. This historical narratuve is garbage regarding Russia.
Russia has always been on the side of rights for centuries
