Like Nostalgia Critic said too, the thing Timmy ended up saving the residents of Thorn Valley from wouldn't even be a threat if they didn't play favorites. It ended up being a self fulfilling prophecy. And come on, give Mrs. Brisby a statue too alongside her son!

I don't know if "Secret of NIMH"was straight to video or had a theatrical release, but this movie seems like a straight to video Disney release in comparison(yes, I know it's not Disney).
Could have made it more interesting to compare how Martin was the older sibling, but was made to feel unimportant in comparison to Timmy to give villain motivation, but I'm thinking too hard. This movie is just awful.

Timmy to the Rescue is far better than the first Nimh. The story is more intelligent, the characters are more three dimensional and the animation is better.

Timmy didn't even save anyone Jenny was the one who stopped Martin. Also why was it Timmy they never specified it was him or Martin in the beginning. I also love how Timmy goes to Thorn Vallley to get a good life while his family stays back and don't get that
It's sad how this follow up was handled it's hard not to feel like the higher ups didn't really respect the first flick and it shows with it feeling like a shameless cash grab it's not the worst of all time sequel however,. And by that I mean there's supposedly High lander 2 from what i've heard it's a pretty atrocious flick.
