I didnt start theorising until the second "lore" animation so this is probably not new knowledge but heres my take anyways
we now know for a fact that graves makes deals like this often with our deer "AZ" or also known as AZFK but that he has a nickname from him means that they knew eachother a long time.
this implies the possibility of other species having been guided by AZFK or just means that he makes many different deals with him.
if the first one is correct then there could be a possibility he has been killing species off without a care in the world.
maybe mars was one of the planets he caused to die in a atomic winter or something (probably a lil prank to world leaders)
