The Russian Navy Sucks Supercut (Parts 1-6)

Apparently according to the Spiffing Brit this is the done thing now for video series once they reached an effective conclusion/end.

That being said this navy is the gift that keeps on giving so I will probably be back.

  1. Awesome vid, but one tiny prob with your currency valuation has revealed something super interesting.

In talking about currency comparisons the stronger currency always goes first, your Google check should have been USDRUB

Then it gets interesting. Load up a chart of USDRUB. Switch to a one year view of that chart. What happened in June?? There's a very clear and abrupt change. Check it out, srsly.

  2. I don't know wheter to be thankful that Kuznetsov doesn't have a nuclear reactor, or to point out the sheer stupidity of the only country that has nuclear cruisers refusing to use nuclear propulsion for a ship that's meant to project power globally.

  3. It should be noted that with the purchase of F35's with STOVL capability the US now effectively has over 20 carriers. The roughly 11 super carriers and dozen amphibious assault ships can theoretically form over 20 battlegroups but in reality about 1/3rd of that number are active at any given time. That said the US could also reactivate roughly 20 more carriers from mothball and, once refitted, would make excellent carriers.

  4. Kutnezsov section: Nato has even mor carriers, if you count Japans assault cruisers as carriers you have to count the Wasp and America class amphibious assault ships since they launch and recover F35Bs

  5. How can people be this stupid with using ships. I have no idea why people say the Russian navy is among the best in the world with a track record that sounds more like a comedy TV series than actual history. Russia (or their enslaved member states (Ukraine)) may be good at building ships but as soon as you put Russians aboard them they are already doomed.

  6. have commanding officers in Russia got a strange code where they dont tell there subordinates how to do anything in case those lower ranks are actually better and get promoted? it makes no sense how both an army and navy have been so useless for centuries. I get the feeling that in Russia as a soldier or seaman you're not told to be your best, you're just told to shut up and follow the order like the useless grunt you are

  7. In regards to the Swedish national defence here's a quote (translated by me, to be fair) from a Swedish defence booklet given to every single household back in 2018: "If Sweden is attacked by another country we shall never surrender. Any orders to cease resisting are false." If my platoon commander during my national service is to be believed that is not just propaganda, but a standing order in the Swedish defence forces.

Winning against the USSR was never in the cards for us, but neither was losing.

  8. I love how when discussing NATO CVs you mention a bunch of the hybrid/mini CVs from other countries but don’t add to the ridiculous US total with the LHA/LHDs added in even though they also operate the F-35B.

    Don’t touch our boats! 🀣🀣

  9. Binoculars you say? Oh. Funny LoL
And since you mentioned a new machine. The audio, while you were talking about the future russian submarine fleet, ergo the surface fleet, was clearer and crisper. Part 2 sounds crushed, like Mr. Dolby is stepping on the bass, and a little on the mids. At least to my eardrums. What's left of them. Take care, mate. Fair winds
