  4. I think the recent games just lack this, you know ? The focus and the horror so dangerous, most protagonists aren't civilians like you're used to see in horror, but military and cops.

    I also miss the cinematic stuck camera from old games. Gave a real cinematic feel to the games.

  5. How could Sergei have such advanced Tyrants, when T-001 was still the mess it was ?

    Also, I think the reason only the T-virus Tyrant satisfied Wesker like you mentioned in "Code Veronica", is exactly because that Tyrant was the only one with mostly controlled levels of mutation, never losing them, not even after all the damage it receives.

  8. Gamerthumbtv and fellow commenters, I'm writing a large crossover fanfic saga (there are actually two, but they're parallel timelines of the same world, and "RE" takes truly place in only one of them) that involves "Resident Evil".

    In this version of the story, the events of an anime (Lost Song) happened in the distant past, resulting on Earth being trapped in a loop of sorts. And through out these loops, new life forms, viruses and parasites came into existance, each time meteores rained down on Earth, and forced life to re-evolve again.

    There are two original hostile life forms that were there from the beginning. The Mitochondria from "Parasite Eve", who began the loop. And the Mold, which survived and chose Miranda to be its caretaker. Then, the events of a game (Ecco the Dolphin) happened, and an alien race named Vortex adapted to pre-historic Earth, mixing among humans and plant life. This is how the super powered humans from "Metal Gear Solid" and the Flower for the original T-Virus came into being. And as if that wasn't bad happen, the Mitochondria indirectly set up events to allow for the ascension of William Afton from "FNAF".

    Both sagas are structured to work like the MCU, this timeline being more horror focused. This saga's point is to mix multiple forms of mutation and evolution branches for humanity to compete for the world until it either burns or changes.

    Join me, and see Earth's final destiny, orchestrated by humanity, its puppeters and variants, both mechanical and organic. What they all have in common. They lie within. The worst foes always do.

I'm actually working on a let's play of the RE Games on my channel, (as well as other games lol) so having all of this lore to go with my experience is just the cherry on top!

  24. When you talk about Raccoon City, will you use mostly "Dark Chronicles" and the original "RE 2" like in the original video, or "RE 2: Remake" ? I hope you use most of the original two games. I don't really like the remakes, they take away too much of the original's insanity and rush things, in my humble opinion. And there are scenes that just make no sense, such as when Ada fell in that dark pit and miraculously survived.

    Although, I do hope you use some scene in which Annette and Sherry make some sort of ammends, since in the Remake she's more focused in taking care of her than hunting a hulking monster that outweights her in…litterally everything. What was she thinking ? It's like the only good thing from it in my opinion.

  26. And while the voice acting and the live action moments were quite cheesy, it's awesome to see the actors and VAs coming back to the community, they're rockstars now! Charlie Kraslavski being the Keeper in The Keeper's Diary: A Biohazard Story, he's Mayor Warren in Carrier: A Raccoon City Tale, Pablo Kuntz Wesker's OG VA reprised his role in that too!

  29. So glad you covered the dark origins of the Chimera! Umbrella was always evil, but how they "made" the Chimeras? And it brings up a question… did one woman "birth" one, being torn apart? Or were there multiple from one host?
