  1. In today’s episode of Breath of the Wild…

We’ve reached a pretty big milestone today, folks! 100 episodes of Breath of the Wild. That’s nothing to scoff at, no no no. In fact, I dare say that’s something to celebrate.
So… as any good ‘writer’ should… here’s my list of ‘formal’ acknowledgements:
    AnArn B,
    M N switch,
    Marissa Bulso,
    Megan Knapp,
for following my silly little comments with such passion, such dedication.
[REDACTED]. A shame your username was… the way it was…
sc1ence2, for typing the words “scholarly sports commentator.” Thank you.
Underplayer, someone who was similarly way too invested in this channel during the Hollow Knight playthrough.
dragon_boi, just a friendly reminder that you are amazing and appreciated. Thank you lizard.
Korok ~300, Korok 424, & Korok 521 for… making my life worse. Found you in the end, though. Found you in the end.
    And, of course,
QuinBoBin. For… giving me this opportunity. For giving us this content. For… being himself.

Okay, enough of that mushy garbage, what actually happened in today’s episode of Breath of the Wild?

Quin has been possessed by the completionist spirit. The Really Big Rocks call him, to destroy their very accursed souls. There are 42.
    Let’s get mining, then.
2:18 Talus 1 downed. These minibosses are laughably easy in endgame; the way I phrased that would make you think they’re not so easy in early game. That depends on how willing you are to waste three minutes of your life stunlocking these behemoths with silly remote bombs. I, for one, have nothing better to do.
    Nice sneeze.
3:02 Talus 2 made a convincing decoy frost talus, visible even from space, but was no match for Quin’s superior vision.
Fun fact! Quin died to a talus in episode 2 of this Breath of the Wild series. Now, I have an encyclopedia on the events of this series; how does he remember that far back?
Teba definitely has some roasted bird thighs after the Vah Medoh encounter…
3:41 Talus 3 is a kind man. Polite, even.
4:36 Talus 4 has mastered the art of using his head; Quin, however, has not. Using bomb arrows at close range? Running directly underneath a talus as it telegraphs its slam attack? Failing to utilize remote bombs on a back-talus? All checked off. Ah, we love him for it though.
    5:22 Talus 5, a fallen meteorite. Friend to Korok… ah… some number, I’m sure.
5:59 Talus 6 does NOT have the 27 I.Q. that Quin does, leaving him an easy slaughter.
    6:28 Talus 7 got eviserated.
    6:45 Likewise, for Talus 8.
7:08 Talus 9 was powerscaled for the Great Plateau. A shame for him, but some easy pickings for the rest of us.
8:41 Loony tunes spinning aside, Talus 10 is down.
That’s a bandana, not a hat, Quin. Allow me to recall my retconned dominion over the weathers of Hyrule, as illustrated in episode 36 of this series, to shame you for your lacking vocabulary.
    9:39 Mommy… I– uh– that’s Talus 11.
9:58 Americ– hm– Canadian Psycho over here, murdering Talus 12 just over some poor weather. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that…
I could recall that korok’s number. I could.
10:21 Respect your elders, Quin. Or don’t. Talus 13 was the one to teach you that lesson the hard way. How unlucky.
10:35 I hope I get these timestamps right. The sound of Talus 14’s deposit shattering is such a satisfying sound. So it seems, simply so.
11:08 Itzy-bitzy spider, climb up the water spout. Crush a massive boulder, mine its minerals out! The nursery rhyme just isn’t the same, even if accurate to Talus 15’s experiences.
    12:02 Talus 16 never stood a chance.
12:32 Igneo Talus Titan, despite certainly having already been slain to complete the DLC, joins his children as Talus 17. Reduced to a mere statistic, a fate worse than Hell.
12:45 Farming Simulator 2022. Hello, Talus 18. Goodbye, Talus 18.
13:06 This is [SOUND OF TALUS 19 VIOLENTLY SHATTERING INTO PIECES] gaming.
100 episodes in and never having collected a Smotherwing Butterfly. I recall someone having a meltdown over you only discovering a Sneaky Snail midway into the late-game korok hunt. I wonder how they’re doing, seeing that.
14:09 Talus 20 was exceptionally rude, but at least that’s the halfway point. The Korok Hunt was so much harder, this is… this should’ve been the tutorial…
14:31 Talus 21 got what, like, 5 frames of life? The poor man.

    …th- thirteen… left…
(Am I mentally prepared to be wrong again…?)
Ignoring that, and [REDACTED] Gorons offscreen, we should be completing the Talus Hunt relatively soon, next episode even! That’s exciting!
Our (mis)adventures, then, must conclude for today. I’ll see you all on episode 101! 🙂

  2. 5:34

    supposed lore?

maybe the koroks were talus' that fell from the sky, created by our lord Squimblo and the talus' that remain never hit the ground hard enough but, Squimblo made them chosen ones and ordered them to make Quin pay for all those times he smack talked about him

  3. Just one quick thing: Have you tried enhancing the best armors that are practical? (Champion's tunic, soldiers set (minus the chest), snowquil set, flamebreaker set, zora set, desert voe set, rubbber set, snow and sand boots)
