To the newscaster: pesticides are different than nutrients…… It is NUTRIENTS which feed the algae, not PESTICIDES….
Pesticides kill pests.
Nutrients/fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus potassium) feeds plants.
All of our waters have been poluted for years no one cares about our sealife or wild life its disqusting. Tearing down the woods etc taking their homes and environment away and same with our lakes oceans springs etc
Funny, these same things happens near asbestos mines…
The algae blooms are filthy, they are the direct result of sewage, industrial and agricultural runoff. The beaches are filthy and unsafe, don’t visit.
