Kouri Richins wrote a children’s book about grief after her husband was found dead of an apparent overdose. Soon after she’s charged with his murder.
Watch “The People v. Kouri Richins” and then catch up with “48 Hours” correspondent Natalie Morales and producer Betsy Shuller as they dig into the headline-grabbing case of Utah mother Kouri Richins, who wrote a book to help her children cope with the death of their father, Eric, and was later charged with murder. They discuss the six life insurance policies that Eric had, the 20,000-square-foot mansion Kouri purchased just after his death, and the potentially incriminating handwritten letter found in her jail cell.

She had it better than most women and that was not enough! I would like to give her the benefit of doubt but it doesn’t look good. Uplifting her kids in prayer.
I thought 48 hours already aired this. I could be wrong.
I believe his family… her attorney is very good she makes her seem sooooo innocent 😇 money talks she is getting pay a lot of money.
In my opinion, any evidence are not valid.. The person who died is a User of drugs. If they can prove that the wife gave it to him.. Or bought the drugs.. Like directly and clean evidence regarding the drugs. Then she is guilty. About phone searches.. I also search about drugs because of watching and binging crime videos. I'm commenting here.. In case something happened to my husband. Because of the searches I'm doing on the internet.. I think searches on the internet are not that strong especially if you're involved in the case.. I always google everything too.
If anyone is interested, the defence lawyer, Sky/e Lazaro, is also the same defence lawyer who represented James/Jim Craig in the Angela Craig case, also covered here on the 48 Hours channel (Who Poisoned Angela Craig).
The mother makes me sick. If she says ‘she was sobbing’ one more time..
I think Eric had weak health and he took fentanyl
Eric was away 5 months a year but was too coward for divorce.
Her family doesn t stop from slandering the victim….but one can see in their faces…that they know she did it!!!
I'm not 100% sure but i think this is the most amount of lies, from the most amount of people that ive ever seen on one video.
Allegedly.
They sure give an alleged murderer a lot of praise in this
so sad for the kids.
Her mother showed no concern about Eric's death. Know they are after her
This family is toxic. I'm happy to hear police is looking into the mother, too.
Toxicology test
Her lawyer…toxic af! No soul
She's guilty
It’s easy to see the guys eyes are “pinned” indicating he likes to use fetanyl. Very noticeable!
Shes innocent, Shapiro would get this case dropped, the same day!
Seems like the "lady's" attorney has an answer for everything! Lots of excuses her family is making for her. She's suddenly writing fiction from prison about her husband, using his name, getting drugs from Mexico? She's a real (mental) case and delusional about what people will believe.
She is sick….he wasn’t just her husband he was her kids father…I wouldn’t want my kid to lose her father no matter how I felt about him!!!
She could have divorced him instead of this😢Sad especially for the sons. This world has a lot of cruel people
Oh Lord… that defense attorney. 🙄
TCB in gummies is mainstream & many who won’t touch any illegal or illicit drugs take these & her family seems shady. He knew she was after his $$!and specifically told his family if anything happens, she’s to blame! How many folks say this about their spouse?
She has a good attorney, no doubt; but she seems guilty as heck!
Mom looks SUSW asf and greed in this country is disgusting! So sad…the ones that suffer the most are the kids. 😢
They were celebrating that she was deep in debt, and had just purchased a 4 million dollar mansion. Nothing makes sense.
Is that attorney with long black hair, wearing black blogging. That’s strain, and awfully spooky.
What is with all of this family annihilation?
This looks like a defense move to air this show before she goes to trial.
She’s such a manipulative shrew and wanted everything
