Lol. He is so fucking smooth with three beaters. He has mastered the duelist but with a third beater he's an aminal. If you haven't, please check it out. I have no idea how he does it. Great review and incredible playing! It was very interesting to hear the difference between the double and the two singles. I preferred the sound of the two singles as there was definitely more 'sonic headroom' and more clarity. Brilliant!

What a coincidence that you did a vid on these 8 days before I was looking for new peds. Might go DD though.
Would you say the improvements are worth the extra hundred-ish? It's already outside my budget. I'm going on a payment plan either way
My two worries are
1. My first experience with direct drive was in a GC and it felt like there was a lack of "weight" and that no matter how hard I "pushed" it felt like there was a "limiter," that it was already at max velocity, which is troublesome if you need to do dynamics. But that was way back when they first came out.
2. I know I can switch the Demon Drive from lefty to righty (I'm righty but play kick on the left because I have massive toms and floor aux hats), wonder if I can do that with these? Not sure. It's a mystery!
