  1. this was pretty good until 23: where it spiraled down the drain with reiterations of repetitions of hackneyed phrases and lacking any furtherance of the story line, filler as it were.

  2. Whoever wrote this story is a moron. How the hell did Reeves survive the collision and explosion against the enemy command ship that destroyed both ships, killing himself and the entire enemy command, and how in the hell is there all of a sudden a new enemy command ship.

  3. It was a great story…as if written by one of the scifi greats of the 1950's, using old fashioned tactics from the 1800's. The story ignored the speeds of space craft, the distance of space battles and the relativistic realities of battles in outer space.
    It reminded me of stories that I read in scifi soft cover magazines… the saving of beautiful girls from the clutches of ugly monsters, and Buck Rogers- like stiff dialogue.
    A little bit juvenile, eh?
