THE NEXT BIG JRPG? | Alterium Shift (Demo) – First Impressions

We have three stories to choose from … and of course I gravitate towards the over-achiever struggling with her first failure! I wonder what else is in store? XD

☆ Question of the Day ☆

  1. I really appreciated Pyra's story in this demo! While I do think the side quest filled me with a bit more frustration (and didn't necessarily teach what I think Dolion was getting at), the idea of learning to follow as an important part of learning to lead was one that stuck with me after playing this arc!

An effective follower listens, supports, and (I think) is the backbone of any group. While leaders are important to help bring cohesion, structure, and guidance to a situation, the bulk of the work done in any group setting is done by the followers. Being a team player is also something that's underrated in a lot of group settings.

  2. OMG, I'm one of the developers and I loved this playthrough so much! Your reactions were so fun. There are many quality of life changes planned for the full game and we appreciate your patience with the demo and understanding the issues with it! I would love to hear your thoughts on the other characters if you get around to playing them! Really appreciate your deep thoughts on the theme for Pyra, and it's worth noting, that while the overall destination doesn't change, if you do decide to not put up with some of Sage's antics (without spoiling anything), there are interesting direct results to such! Anyway, thanks again for playing! 😀
