When I was 13-14 I remember pirating the first game on the PC. Loved it! Then got the sequel on the Wii, which I also loved.
I'd love a third game but the Steam re-releases are fantastic.

I always love when an Obscure video creeps out of nowhere.
This game just showed up in my ps2 collection one day when I was young. Nobody else in my family ever ended up playing it or mentioning it despite most of us being big silent hill and resident evil fans.
I was the sole player of this game. And more than just a clever name, this seemed to be extremely obscure within the social circles I was in.
It seemed like a fever dream because as randomly as it showed up it also disappeared from my collection and very few people made any significant retrospectives about it online.
My reaction to this game is like if David Lynch were to have made Silent Hill, just total bewilderment.
I recall playing Aftermath for countless hours on the PSP, of all consoles. I loved it and I loved the college setting. I recently got it on Steam and it brought me back to a very special period of my life. This is a very underrated series. Amazing video, as always!

lol come on now, Obscure was in gaming magazines and heavily advertised during the ps2 days. Maybe it is my age and to zoomers this might be 'obscure'.

THIS was the game that introduced me to horror games. I had Resi 1, 2, 3 on PSone and, I'm sure, some random horrors on PC, but I focused my time on other genres and games. Until I was bored and browsing my local game store one day and saw Obscure, and I never looked back. I still have it. I remember this gem vividly. The orcestral score, the SUM 41 intro, the wierdest school layout I've ever seen. I played this so many times. It was the first game I used a GameFAQs guide to help me, and the first game I actually took time to read the notes and in game lore.
I bought Obscure 2, too, but for whatever reason I'd moved on to bigger things.

9:45 you can still play RE Outbreak online using a PS2 emulator. I'm not sure how active it is, but I believe people still play it. MGO is still pretty active though.
