Fun fact: Java Zombies have a much farther detection radius than other mobs, being 35 blocks compared to 16. I can’t imagine what a zombie difficulty mod could’ve cranked it up to on top of the other new detection methods 😛

You should make trapdoors instead of glass
And it is dripstone in your cave so maybe you should make a "dripstone moat". And in vanilla minecraft zombies think that trapdoors are a block they can stand one, so maybe you can place down some trapdoors.

If I were you I would have gone in the city because the city might have guns/bats/crowbars although its a higher chance of dying I would say its worth it (nice job btw)
