The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. The sculptures were buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE, with the purpose of protecting him in his afterlife.

The army is located in the Lintong District of Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China, and it is considered one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century. The army consists of more than 8,000 life-size terracotta figures of soldiers, chariots, horses, and other military equipment. The figures vary in height, with the tallest being about 2 meters tall.

Each figure is unique and was individually crafted with different clothing, hairstyles, and facial expressions. The level of detail and craftsmanship is impressive, and the army is a testament to the advanced technology and artistic skill of the Qin Dynasty.
