  1. The Dolphins can choose to pay Tua now or wait another year, but let's say you wait another year and he improves like he does every single year since he has been in the league. You will be in trouble bc he might want 55 million a year. If you sign him now you could get him for 45 million a year.

  2. As a Tuaneer and Dolphins lifelong fan, I'd say we sign him to a shorter extension rather than a long-term commitment. Include a clause around injuries that allows for restructuring at a moments notice in order to free up cap space if he goes down. However, one thing that Tua has done is this: He's gotten better with each year. Year 2 in the same offense he leads league in passing. Year 3 of continuity will make him even better. Tua is great at recognizing his faults and putting in the work to correct it. He's been under the bright lights already. we need him to step up next year. Give me 1 more year where you show me how good you can be and if we make it to post-season +1 i'll make you one of the highest paid people in sports, just show me, dont tell me you will. 1 healthy season vs 3 others with injury ain't enough.

  3. Dolphins are nuts. They now have multiple years to review Tua and you have to know this guy does not have it. Trade him now you could get a first or second then draft a good prospect or a good free agent they can attract. Get rid of Ore Wee as well please and his Capri pants. He is not a genius. Give me a break!

  4. Come on guys, this is a no brainer. This bum is holding you guys back.
Hill, Mostert, Waddle and Achane all withering on the vine while you keep giving this interception-machine chance after chance.
Get rid of the bum and win a Super Bowl already

  5. Not just talking about Miami in general, while they are not prepared at all for bad weather games, but it seems like the playoffs are just becoming a crapshoot. Tons of teams make it in and weather plays such a big factor. Teams have to know how to win in multiple ways.

  6. No way on Tua long term. As a matter of fact, we don't need to make any long term commitments on this roster this off-season. I don't mind Tua playing out his last year. My only pushback to you Mike is who's trading us a draft pick and giving Tua a big extension?

  7. Us Dolphins fans waited a long time and went through countless qb's before drafting Tua and he's more than showed he has elite abilities, has he made mistakes, yeah and so has every qb in their first few years. I don't really count Tua's first two years because of the rehabbing, covid and Flores holding him back all really hampered his development. Better play calling from McDaniel, better O-line and not having so many injuries and we'd be having a different conversation. In spite of everything Tua has improved each year. I have complete confidence that Miami will take a look at the weaknesses and get things fixed in the off season. We're going to be just fine. Phins up

  8. I don't care who the dolphins have at QB. it could be Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Montana, they will not win a playoff game and consistently struggle against teams with winning records with this offensive line. the only reason they did as well as they did was because Tua got rid of the ball so fast. he masked a lot of the o-lines weakness. it can also be pointed out that the dolphins used 12 different O-lines during the year and their original 5 starts only payed ONE game together all year and that was the Denver game. they need to see about retaining their defense, letting some big contracts go, replacing them in the draft and drafting/signing some O-Line help (like first round help)
