Ok so The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 is now out and throughout this video weโre gonna be recapping the plot, breaking down all the easter eggs and also going over the characters that we get teases to in this entry. Somehow Heavy Spoilers has returned and with this episode clearly also setting up things coming in Ahsoka thereโs a lot to talk about. Anuyway last week saw the who we time travelled with in the mans delorean getting taken down by Bo and The Mandalorian.

This was in an effort to get back to Boโs old crew which is where she had an axe to grind over no longer being the leader. Defeating woves she then presented with the Darksaber due to her technically winning it in combat all the way back in episode 2.
That takes us into this entry which sees the return of Moff Gideon and also the introduction of The Shadow Council.
Gideon ends up getting his own Mandalorian armour in this entry and you might remember that back in our episode 5 breakdown that we talked about a big clue towards this.

This one was better but… It feels like they are trying to sell action figures. The IG12 was so unnecessary, they have no idea what to do with the cute little guy! Well don't video.

I thought it was a little bit too convenient that Gideon was able to have that holo meeting from Mandalore, too. Whatever, still a cool episode.

Did Grogu forget he had force powers or something? Why didn't Bo-Katan use the Dark Saber immediately instead of letting Gideon speak first?
I feel like grogus reaction to din being captured was a little underwhelming. Also staring moff Gideon didn't see him. Definitely thought it would trigger some crazy stuff inside him having his father basically be captured by Gideon now.
Skywalker would have demolished them easier than the dark troopers. Theres nothing special.about a 3 v 1 battle after Paz took out over a dozen dark troopers in beskar. And had a small knife to boot. Not impressed by the reds at all. Skywalker not even in his prime would and should have crushed this new empire uprising. There's no one on his level or even close.
Skywalker, aka the most powerful being by far currently in the galaxy needs to rescue Mando again & dispatch of the cheapnred guards.
I'm sure that the comms don't work because the Empire is jamming communications.
I think the traitors, is actually the mandos they meet on the surface in the ship, they seem suspicious ๐ง

As a huge fan of the star wars clone wars series I prefer refs to the shows. I understand some newer fans don't get it or don't like it but this is star wars. A majority of star wars fans are not just casual fans. A lot of us have followed the series. I also loved rebels as well so I'm loyal to the shows. I don't really care if some people don't like it because star wars isn't for everyone. I wouldn't want the shows to cater to only new fans, that would feel cheap and like a let down. People don't have to like it, there's a lot of media out there to consume and not everyone will agree but that's life. We don't all have to agree. I'm super excited for Ahsoka cause I loved rebels and I loved Ahsoka in the clone wars. It won't be a show for everyone but it's defiantly a show for me~
I really hope next season is an overall improvement from this one
Bring forth Young Clone Palpatine. It's a great character. Why avoid it? It would take everything to another level.

I could not get into rebels so I don't really know whats going on with the characters from that show. I have tried but just have such a hard time watching that show.

Ok itโs theory timeโฆquestion, who was Moff Gideon speaking to when he said โThank you for getting all the mandalorians in one place for meโ. Could it be that Din Djarin is the spy? Even though he may not know it? Gideon is prepared to kill every Mandalorian but for some reason takes Din to the debriefing room? Why not just kill him? Although it might be difficult to pull the wool over groguโs eyes but then again he isnโt super strong with the force just yet. Itโs an interesting thought.
