Millions of grown men wept happy tears at that episode's conclusion. We thought, "Well, it would be amazing if it's Luke Skywalker coming to save Grogu, but there's no way they could do that so it must be somebody else, like Ezra". Then they start dropping the clues… X-Wing…single lightsaber…glove on right hand… GREEN lightsaber! Then the reveal… WOW! One of the best moments in Star Wars in over 10 years, easily.

Y'all should check out Firefly and its feature film Serenity. Mandolorian seems to take heavily from it. From the Razorcrest being very much like Serenity, to having the very western vibes and using more than a few of the same lines. To even having a character sought after by the government like Grogu. Talk about great characters, no-one writes better characters than Joss Whedon.
