Is the glass lamination glass either side with plastic sandwiched in the middle? If it is you could try cutting both sides with a normally cutter( you'd have to make a jig so both cuts are the same on both sides try and move it a little so that the glass breaks but don't try and break the plastic, do the same on the otherside so it moves a little across the cut area then pour alcohol across the cut and set it on fire to melt the plastic centre layer? I've seen this done on flat glass so worth a try on one of them.spare bits of glass ypu have.
Amazing work overall but I prefer the smooth hood, new one ruins the flow of the car for me. I generally hate that type of hood on most vehicles anyway so could be just me.
I think if the window was laying in a water bath i woud work, I saw a guy on YT cutting and shaping glass with handscissors, but only worked submerged in water
This upload was an early Christmas present… I love this build number 1 on YouTube right now. If I'm wrong tell me which is better in the comments (because I must not know)
it's starts with the hood then you'll need a big wing. Also you take away from the frunk and people love their frunk. you could place a lab coat and some ski glasses in a frunk and it will win out to that hood vent . At least finish it with both hoods so you have options
There is a video on youtube of a guy cutting glass for a chop. He uses relief cuts in the corners to reduce stress on the rest of the glass to reduce cracking.
How about a simple glascutter from both sides & then cut the foil between the glasses?
I really like this car

Man this looks so good.
I personally don't like the new front

That car is looking good. I can hardly wait to see it finished. Great job so far tho.
Love your creativity with this project! Inspiring!

Are you gonna 3d scan every body parts in case youβll ever (I hope not) crash?
TESLA MODEL 3 ULTRA-LIGHT LEXAN GLASS REPLACEMENT on Unplugged Performance website
What about the same glass they use for bulletproof
Gracias!
The door glass of a older model 3 isnβt safety glass and is I think better to gut with a waterjet
Keep it up!!
Wow!
that sucks about the glass man, i hope you get it figured out.
Rest assured this is far from the last piece of this
Pop a mold of the window and make it out of plexiglass with a polycarbonate laminate.

You have a template now for somone to make a window from scratch
At this point just use Optix Acrylic π‘
Plexiglass
The hardest part is the glass part π€―π€―
As a Panelbeater my self this really is the most underrated build on YouTube
