The fact that u let the founders die of "Old Age" and not care but constantly say ' I can't lose my Drone Commander' is probably why u have bad carma and the game or Something (Vengeful Spirits of all the founders u killed) is targeting ur precious commander.

There are options to get those laser guns what shoot down those meteors so they dont hit ur buildings
May need to rush to the meteor defense lasers.
The game is punishing you for murdering all your senior citizens. You literally send them to die, nobody will want to have kids in such harsh conditions😂😂. Love your content man
The research option "Forever young" allows your seniors to work and reproduce. So no real need to kill them off 🙂
