  1. Some people have already said it, but on PC if you cap the frame rate to 60 FPS instead of I dunno getting the most out of your insanely expensive hardware the kerbs act much differently. Consoles are naturally frame rate capped, thus they are getting the benefit of this all the time. That's why you feel like you do on the Kerbs between PC and Console. I'd like to see a video of you doing the Kerbs with an unchecked frame rate and then the frame rate on to see what you find but I've noticed that I'm significantly more stable and can kerb better when I limit my FPS to 60 on PC . And I'm playing on a 3090 on a 165 Hz monitor so it absolutely infuriates me to do that.

  2. Deffo seeing top league racers spinning in this game, either being to aggressive on the throttle or mounting notorious kerbs that weren’t a problem in the last game! Even saw Speed Bari spin out on Spa in the recent PSGL race…there are a lot of times where you get no pre-warning of an impending spin (I use a Fanatec Clubsport V2.5).
The game is deffo different on PC, and even on previous games the track limits are more severe. Maybe Codemasters don’t know themselves or the FFB is different on PC.

  3. I probably play a different game compared to other people coz on Xbox I have the same issues you talk bout PC: no matter how soft my suspensions are, as soon as I barely touch a curb I completely lose the car. Also, when I lose the car on traction it just spin before I even have time to try and regain it

  4. It all depends on the forcefeedback settings in game and wheelbase!
So many combinations, i can have much faster laptimes with only changing some settings.
Therefore i think the whole online racing is nonsense because some play without any feedback at all.

  5. I am totally disappointed with this game I done one my team race that was boring . The Devs have changed nothing other than the look of cars . They ruined the engine audios its just a worst copy and paste of 21 everything just identical to 21 but in a worst way . curbs are like ice rinks totally unrealistic it's just a total kick in the BOLLOX to the fans of this game and I think EA will just train reck the series moving forward
I'll just continue with 21 for now as it far better than this trash they Sold us I could go on. I'm just struggling with how any one can say this is great game

  6. With every release, the kerb grip gets reduced in the code. While some kerbs IRL have grip. Ingame they’re all slippery because they’re coded the relatively the same.

Imagine every kerb as a puddle and your frustration will make more sense. The track may have 100% grip but, if the kerb has 20%, then as soon as you touch it you start sliding.

This isn’t correct since IRL kerbs become rubbered in and may have similar grip levels to the track.

  7. This game is broken with this Frame Rate glitch. Crossplay is gonna be enabled and I am here with a 3k gaming PC and need to cap my frames at 60 in order to dumb down the physics to not spin off kerbs? How the F did the game get released like this.

  8. So do they have the physics engine tied to the frame rate in some way?? Because that seems to be the case, which that's one of the dumbest things a dev can do and even more egregious in a racing game.

  9. He would impress me more if he played in actual cockpit view because the corners give more of a challenge than the view he is playing in. Also he would experience what the real drivers are experiencing with the halo in front of you!
I play the cockpit view and it is way more challenging than TV view..
