The Japanese Snapped Back to Reality, Painfully – 6 Jan 1942 – DW vs. Loka – War In the Pacific

Yesterday’s incredible successes for Japan were very short lived, as today DesertWolf put on a master class of coordination, revenge and payback for the fall of Midway. The Japanese forward operating base on Nothern Borneo is obliterated.

  1. I'm pretty sure if DW wanted to, he can go back with those B-17s to make sure those aircraft stay on the airfield (unless Loka manges to bring more aircraft in). Also, it's starting to seem like Betties and Bells aren't too scary with proper AA cover.

That was definitely worth a Town class CL. cough cough

  2. That amount of B17's in the DEI is SCARY when you think of Loka's oil when he takes those bases. And he doesn't have the ability to CAP the bases easily. He may have to wait until the very end of the DEI campaign to take the oil bases which hurts his own war effort.
