  1. His explanation of how hereditary monarchy is stable and produces stability is not convincing. The idea that a monarch will make just and wise decisions because he does not want to saddle his heir with problems isn't a real check on power. Does history bear that out?

  2. After listening to this, both of these gentlemen should read “Democracy: The God That Failed”, by Hans-Hermann Hoppe, if they haven’t already. He discusses many of the same advantages of a monarchy, such as long term stability, and more, over democracy. Excellent read!

  3. Why he is not talking about the Spanish Empire that their principal purpose was evangelizing that was the
main reason why the first bilingual dictionaries and gramatics were of Indigenous-Spanish languages
before European, please get rid of the black legend, the best way is reading about the Leyes de Indias
and how the Salamanca School was so important in the Trent Concilium. as how their influence in the
way how the Leyes de Indias were completed.

  4. In Poland we say that Austrian rule of Polish land grabed by Habsburgs' during Poland's divide was the most humane in comparision with Prussian and Russian grabed land rules . One of Habsburgs came recently to Poland and he tried to teach us a lesson how to be a good Catholic and a good Pole …..after we managed to regain parts of our land and we have fought out communism from our country and not only . If we ever return to kingdom in Poland , this would be of the Polish origin like Sobieski .

  5. I ALWAYS love Hapsburgs! I believe it was Franz Josep who said he was the one who protects the people from the politicians. A republic can only exist if there is virtue, which sadly we lack. I wish we had a catholic monarch

  7. I was very touched by the story of the Bishop looking out the window and bringing peace to Marie Antoinette`s heart and soul. Thank God for this happening as it was very important to her and should be for all of us . AMEN

  8. I wouldn't say Hungarian is similar to any language. Yes, we have loanwords from German and Slavic languages, but its grammar and our own words are quite different, it's a Non-Indo-European language.

  9. All good, educational, the part about Marie Antoinette was stunning, I felt it in my guts. I would say: impressive.
BUT… I don't want a monarchy, nor "to at least consider the possibility" – sounds like the typical foot-in-the-door technique.
I cannot imagine what dramatic consequences such concentration of power would have in today's world, where we live a scenario similar to the 1984 novel and brain imagery tools can already literally reproduce what you are watching from your brain.
On the other hand, democracy produced abominations like abortion laws and the "dictatorship or relativism."
I think the world needs something new: a system where people have the power but not on sensible ethical issues. No need to go back to the past. It would at the very least look grotesque.
