  1. I have missed you guys. I mostly watch ATLA and LOK content, and I joined you while you were watching them. I am so looking forward to your reaction to the Netflix series and everything that is coming out soon!!
Wish you all the best ❤❤

  2. Yeah I'm with y'all.

It doesn't look bad, but it doesn't really look like an improvement in any way and so I'm just left asking "why make this at all?"

I think I'll just rewatch the original when I feel like watching this story. But I'll check out the live action out of curiosity

  3. It doesn't matter if this series 'misses' because to me.. they can't do any worse than the movie… this trailer already looks 100x better lol., I'm content with it before it's even released… even if it doesn't end up making waves.

  4. We have to remember that at the beginning like you guys mentioned, Sokka is kind of a sarcastic asshat. It's only when the Kyoshi Warriors break him down and embarrass him does he start to realize what he's been doing

  5. yeah a lot of people seem conflicted about dallas liu as zuko but sokka made me the most nervous in this trailer with the whole (pause for laughter) bit not once but TWICE. and neither quote actually made me laugh 😭😭 hopefully it's an editing issue more than anything

  6. I agree too, the humor and chemistry needs to be on point, or it’s not gonna work. That being said, I thought Sokka is spot on for where he is in the show. His jokes are awkward and bad at first(and really he tells plenty of bad jokes about other things as well;)) I think it’s just strange editing really. I think in the moment he will be great.

  7. I'm very unsure about it and it's future. I mean the creators left for a reason. Even if they left just to get their own studio at Nick, did they take rights for any future seasons as well? All of the off screen drama kind of sucks the excitement right out of any hype that's being generated.

  8. Also remember Sokka in the show is super animated and goofy…I think they needed to tone that done in order to make the show work.

If everything was over the top cartoony goofy nobody but kids would take it seriously. And Netflix is aware that Avatar fans have grown up.

  9. Watched Avatar well into my 30s. I can see where if you saw it when you were like 10 or 12, it was probably the tightest shit ever. Very much still a kids show.

I hope its good. I like fun things.
