  1. It doesn't at all. The colts aren't winning this year. In fact they're at best a full year away from being a fringe wildcard team. JT doesn't fit in the colts 1-3 year window to win. So why would the colts extend him if he's not part of the equation they're going to try and build around Richardson?

  2. Last time I checked Jonathan Taylor signed a contract. You can put whatever scenarios to talk about respect Taylor should be treated to a team that will pay him. I am so tired of these talking points. Have you ever thought that demands signed agreement and that his signature supposed to mean something? This is not about respect this is about business. If Jonathan Taylor wanted more money he should have negotiated that before he signed. I do not feel sorry for billionaires that argue with millionaires.

  3. He is making more money then a common person that have to work 9 to 5 or as some do a 8 to 6. You could get a random person off the street that would want the money he is getting paid. They would run the ball and block if it is to get paid 4 million. Why complain now when you can complain next year when you have the most leverage. All you have to do is be healthy and show how much of a team player you are. Take Bell when he was with the Steelers. That is the only time anyone really remembers him being great. When he left and went to another team he was just on the other team. Most people saw he wasn't as good as he thought he was. Taylor is good but he won't end up great like Edge or Faulk. So it's best to work hard and be healthy and take the money you signed with. Then you can just talk about getting traded next year where it matters more because the cap will be different and people can trade for you. So you can learn their system.

  4. Mike how does the NFL's leading rusher signing a $12m contract bolster Jonathan Taylor's (not top 20 in rushing last year) reported $16m+ contract demands lmaooo. I mean do you guys even think before you speak?

  5. Horrible take. You can't "just tell" Trey he's the #2 qb🤦‍♂️ As the #2 your reps and throws you get during the week are totally different than what the #3 qb gets. It would be obvious immediately that he wasn't the #2 guy.

  6. I seriously doubt irsay wouldnt extend JT if he plays hard for the team and gets hurt. Irsay doesnt role like that he paid out Lucks entire years contract after he retired. Getting hurt would definitely make the deal a little less but id he played hard for the team this year he would be looking at 12-15 mil extension easy
