Why is this not being sold on audible?
I suspect that since neither side had as many armor piercing bolter ammo nor developed anti astartes weapons/tactics, there was a far greater degree of sheer dismemberment and brute force killing. I can imagine instances of marines running out of their regular bolt ammo finding it ineffective and resorting to simply hacking and discourging enemy astartes to death with blades, rocks, or their own bare hands because they simply had no other way to do it.
Imperial Scholars: Istvaan 3 was an atrocity!
Also Imperial Scholars: Anyway, these troops have heroically fought off a daemonic invasion. The inquisition killed all 300 million of them and all 8 billion of the residents who survived, and this was a great victory for the Imperium.
Can't wait for the next installment!
Some ppl wonder why did the traitors fall into damnation so fast. I always say that it's this type of bloodshed and brutality against their own brothers that broke the traitor legionaries and their further fall was a sort of denial or nihilistic coping mechanism
Fantastic video as usual from you and your channel. It has been a few years since I listened to these books . Now I need to go back and relisten
The death of Captain Temeter and Ancient Huron-Fal of the Death Guard is the scene that has always stayed with me from this event.
Drinking your content like an overpriced tea.
Makes my family issues seem trivial.
At least my siblings aren’t trying to kill me on the orders of my father
Loyalist Death Guard: "I am fortifying this position"
Loyalist Emperor's Child: "We will defend this palace with supreme skill and valor"
Loyalist Lunar Wolf: "We will ambush and kill them in the tunnels inside and under the Sirenhold"
Loyalist World Eater: "Ahaha chainaxe go brr-chop-chop"
So good.
Excellent video
so Saul Tarvitz appears to be the first victim of Lucius's Gift? or did i miss something.
AVE IMPERATOR!!!🫡
Check out talarn
Fantastic as usual. With upgraded mic and music I think you have leutin09 beat.
Can't wait until you cover the dropsite massacre
Looking forward to seeing an Istvaan 5 video.
I love the fact Angron buggered Horus’ plan by literally pulling a Leeroy Jenkins. The Red Angel isn’t my favourite Primarch but I’ll always love his blunt nature.
Holy shit, Angron literally is Leeroy Jenkins!
What was Rylanor carrying?
This guy ladies and gentlemen…
This oculus guy…
You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this, awesome sauce
I love how the legions forgot that loyalist Terrans piloted their vehicles (especially the Death Guard). It is a wonder that Horus's plans weren't skuppered entirely at the first obstacle. Brilliant as always Oculus. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Death to the False Emperor!!!
