Hello everyone!

And welcome back to the long awaited return of the History Of Mortal Combat series to the channel!

Now today with us all of course counting down to the exciting release of Mortal Combat 1, I though that It would only feel right to go back to the roots of the channel, and revisit the franchise the franchise that started it all for me 8 years ago… and since then a lot has happened with both myself and the franchise!

To actually break up and make more sense of the canon, (especially for newer fans and viewers of the series), this is a video that will be broken up Into two sections, this one being ‘The History Of Sub Zero/Noob Saibot’, which Is strictly going to be focused and based around Bi-han, his rise In a clan elite assassin and his later fall as Noob Saibot, and then a second video accompanying video called, ‘The History Of Sub Zero – Tales Across The Multiverse’, a video which will help cover every other version of the character, across the different numbers timelines.

So I think this will helps separate the main timeline canon from the expanded canon, also giving you all a more well rounded idea of the multiple different interruptions of Sub Zero across media!

Im also purposely only doing Bi Han today because his identity of Sub Zero Is known, were as the Identity of scorpion Is not right now.

  15. I hope they bring back the Shirai Ryu I hate the fact they made sub zero and scorpion blood brothers they dropped the ball with that to me. I'm trying to reserve my judgement until I play the new game but so far do not like the fact the only clan is literally the Lin Kui, having two clans gave it balance, scorpion was the fire to sub zeros ice . Also with the new timeline guess there not gonna be a noob Saibot unless scorpion somehow kills bi han still etc . We shall see I guess I have mixed feelings on MK 1 so far.

  23. Just terrible how they made Bi-Han like 0/10 in fights in the NRS era. He's one of the most badass characters and Noob should've really been a threat as a villain.

  27. The only timeline where roles are flipped for Kuai liang and bi Han is mortal kombat legacy which sucks hanzo ends up striking kuai liang down and bi Han accepts it

  33. (Initial comment before watching the video) Ahh yes the The First "Brothers" of Mortal Kombat imho Scorpion became the much better brother than Bi-Han to our main man Kuai Liang

    Edit: in the NRS timeline at least but I do feel bad for Bi-Han after he was affected by the evils of the NetherRealm since this video is about him not both brothers

  35. You did the video on Hydro some time ago. I think Hydro was supposed to be the Classic Sub-Zero in UMK3. The ending says when the character was revealed that it wasn't Bi-han or Kuai Liang. Thoughts on this?

  36. I weirdly have a soft spot for Bi Han. Not exactly a good guy but not as bad as Scorpion thought him to be. Noob is always my favorite to play as and the fact that he was twisted into a more evil being just made him that much more interesting. I don't hold out hope that the OG Sub-Zero can be saved. I just want him to not be a jobber. Kuai is a great Sub-Zero. Honestly the best part of X and the better parts of 11.
