  1. This is 1st part animated History, which I will always love, and 2nd part nostalgia. Its weird that basically every movie mention except "The Black cauldron" and "The Fox and the Hound" I've seen, with about 90% having fond memories.
I guess the vault worked, since I'm a fricken zoomer!

  2. The denial from some about Strange World's box office failure somehow NOT being caused by Disney's need to pander and Virtue signal to the LGBT community is honestly such a cope. Not to mention, people (both young and old) were excited for Lightyear when it first started being advertised. But when Disney once again begin to publicly pat themselves on the back for the inclusion of lesbian women did parents decide not to take their kids to see it. Like it or not, Disney is a brand that caters to children. And the parents of said children would rather wait until they are older and more mature before they're kids are exposed to those of a different orientation. It's not a prejudice thing, it's a preference to maintain some level of innocence. And Disney's need to aggressively force it in their children's films is all the more off-putting. This is why Minions: The Rise of Gru massively outperformed Strange World (which you failed to mention as you attempted to blame Covid despite the pandemic being well over by the time Strange World came out). Keep LGBT themes and ideas to PG-13 and above films.

P.S. Before anyone blindly throws the homophobic label out, I am a proud bisexual.

  3. Treasure planet is my favorite Disney film. I used to watch it all the time back when I was a wee lad!

Excellent video Eddie! Always a pleasure to watch your videos!

  4. I’ll be honest, I did not enjoy Strange World. It was really cliché, especially for a Disney movie. Even my little brother didn’t seem to like it, and he’s the exact age you’d expect a kid who loves any Disney movie to be!

I love Pinocchio though, that film is just great, and it definitely didn’t deserve to be a flop. If it were between Strange World and Pinocchio to be the only movie I can ever watch again, I’d be watching that little wooden feller dance around every single day.

  5. And now we are seeing history repeat itself with Disney and Marvel with regards to cgi artists wanting to form an union to prevent themselves being overworked by the likes of Iger, Feige, Kennedy and Pixar.
