The HIGHEST MILEAGE McLAREN ARTURA!? Driven 1,700 Miles in 6 Days

Now this is how you start ownership of a new supercar! I’m with Sam and his new McLaren Artura, on which he’s already driven 1,700 miles in only 6 days. The has gone straight from collection at McLaren Vancouver, on the road for a trip via LA to Arizona! Let’s check it out…

The McLaren Artura launched just shy of 2 years ago and has been famously plagued with issues getting it to customers and on the road, but with those cars coming through thick and fast, there are plenty of owners looking to get them out there and find out what they are all about.

Featuring a new 3.0l TT V6 hybrid powertrain, alongside new everything compared to previous McLaren models, the company has a lot riding on the success of Artura. This particular car is finished in Vega Blue and certainly looks the part as we first take a look around before jumping on board.

While the streets of Beverly Hills aren’t best suited to discovering a new supercar, they are perhaps more representative than normal with the daily driving ambitions that McLaren target for with Artura. In any case, it’s my first opportunity to ride in, and to drive the new car to find out about it.

Thanks for watching, Tim

  2. look at his plates. that's a little inconvenient to "quickly go home" before heading down from BC. (you quickly know where this dude's from by checking out the car's front. Alberta is the only province that doesn't require front license plates [at least to my knowledge, lol.])

  3. Hey Shmee.
I’m just curious. You’ve driven a lot of your friends’ cars and I wanted to know is there some sort of temporary insurance agreement with your or their insurer, or is it just based on a being super careful thing.

  4. Love the car, but hate to tell you it’s wrong lol I’ve had my Arthur’s for a month now and it’s creeping on 8600 miles. I live in Texas and do frequent drives through all major cities averaging 3-5 hours on road a day. Still great vid tho
