  1. Una alternativa a los tubos de Pringles son los de la marca Dia. Sabor cebolla, queso, barbacoa y original. Cuestan dos mil pesos. Aunque creo que sos exigente y puede que no te gusten. En la app podes encontrarlas.

  2. Great stuff, lots of things to do here in Buenos Aires, if you are Star Wars fans, at Teatro Colón they are celebrating Star Wars day (May the 4th) projecting Return of the Jedi with the symphonic orchestra playing live (there are a few dates available); from the 25th of April to the 13th of May the annual Feria Internacional del Libro de Buenos Aires will open, one of the biggest book fairs in the world; in September try "La noche de los museos", museums stay open all night and are free for one night.

  5. The dome of the Palace, eighty meters high, can be seen from Avenida de Mayo, in an unparalleled urban perspective. Its reticulated iron structure rests on a base of four porches and is covered in copper that, in contact with the atmosphere, acquires its characteristic green color.

  6. If the parque centenario part was filmed last sunday (24/03) probably the subway going to the center was full because of the gathering at the government house in rembebrance of the victims of the last dictatorship. We call it dia de la memoria. Its a really sad an interesting part of our history that could help you understand more about the current social/economical problems in argentina.

  8. Chanel, Michael! I'm eager to see your vlogs in autumn. When it starts to freeze you should explore more coffee shops and try our hot beverages, like submarino for example. I'll also love if you went and vlog La Feria del Libro in April-May. It's one of the biggest book and media ferias ever. It's in La Rural, in Palermo, i'm sure you'll be amazed by the ammount of things to do and see there ❤

  9. Chanel I've been watching you for a few weeks and your vlogs are so inspirational! I am moving to Buenos Aires in November, all the way from Poland. Thanks to your videos, I am more aware how beautiful the city is. I literally can't wait to explore all of these amazing places 😊

  10. Glad you enjoyed the Congressional Plaza (often misnamed the 'Plaza of the Two Congresses' by many locals – on account of the name of the gated, 1910-era monument you pointed out).

Interestingly, the area around that square – 'Congreso' – is often maligned by most uptown snobs as "run-down and full of dark-skinned immigrants" (I lived in Recoleta – and can assure you most are inveterate snobs and bigots; very 'Trumpian').

To be fair, Congreso had declined for decades, as middle-class residents moved to Recoleta, Palermo, and Belgrano in the post-1945 era (much like the 'white flight' phenomenon in the U.S.). But over the past 20 years, it's been recovering – albeit slowly.

Thanks as always for an enjoyable tour, and All the Best to you and Mike!
