The Ghost Fleet World Event has returned! Pirates can once again take on Captain Flameheart’s menacing Ghost Fleet and repel his advance in the Sea of Thieves!
However, while the encounter remains unchanged since it was last in the game, Captain Flameheart is no longer present. Instead, a thin swirling green tornado now indicates that the World Event is active.
This video briefly goes over the World Event for pirates who might be taking on Flameheart’s ghostly armada for the first time!

I honestly miss having Flameheart at the center. I enjoyed the dialogue and you could spot the world event way easier from a distance
No more fire spitting (both figuratively and literally) bobblehead in the sky
Do these ships drop captain skulls of the damned? The one needed by order of souls for the ghostly sails.

Can the OoS voyage still have the Burning Blade at the end?
Is it not enough tornados in the game yet? Why not to make the head back or some cloud with lightning, or some sort of glow on horison and around island, or something else, idk…
Wish they did something other then a tornado. Seems uninspired… if they didn’t want to do his head again could have been the burning blade symbol in the sky instead

Man I missed this event. So glad that its back and while I was battling, It turns out you can max out your Reaper emissary.

So this is what that tornado was. I thought someone was collecting the last veil stone over there. The Flameheart's head made the event more identifiable, and more funny.
Do I get Reaper 5 with this event?
It's a shame this event doesn't scale for different crew sizes. It can be pretty overwhelming for solo players. Also, they missed the opportunity to rebalance the Order of Souls voyage.

i remember one story from back when flameheart was spouting his nonsense above the event. me and my crew went to take on the fleet and we'd managed to get to the final wave after a lot of hardship, but the final wave was still a force to be reckoned with for us. we faced the burning blade and my mates got some good hits in while i was at the helm, but we were still getting shredded. flameheart, it turns out, was right, our supplies WERE dwindling. my crew had to go below to hastily keep us afloat and it was a stressful ordeal, i had to steer us to safety before i could help. but eventually through all the chaos i found an opportunity to strike back. i wasn't very good on cannons back then but i tried my luck and fired at the burning blade.
The shot hit. and it turns out that was all we needed to secure our victory over old soot for brains. me and my crew revelled in our winnings and logged off with much thicker wallets
I once managed to complete the last two waves of the ghost fleet while a player galleon was trying to sink my sloop. After defeatkng the burning blade I had just enough time to take the captain's skull and the cursed cannonball crate! I sunk to another sloop soon after, but the thrill of event stuck in my memory!
I come back to sot for the fh event again, it will not be the same without him telling me "I SEE YOU LITTLE VESSAL" "YOUR SUPPLIES ARE DWINDLING" 🙁
