The wife of a man who died in a burning car is now suing Tesla. She claims a design flaw in her husband’s Tesla led to his death. Forty-eight-year-old doctor Omar Awan slammed his Tesla into a tree in Davie, Florida, when it caught on fire. Emergency responders tried to get the driver out of the Tesla but say they could not find a door handle. They also tried breaking the windshield but they were not able to due to its resistance to breakage. Awan died in the flames.

That wife is stupid, Tesla’s has a scanner in the car how fast the car is driving and how much he weighted and if he had seatbelts. And not only that it gets uploaded to the internet so Tesla can see it even without getting to the car…
And fun fact! Tesla has fixed the problem with the door handles in the new 2020 model s, so now you can pull a lever to open the door even if it has no power.

If you actually look into this case, he put a ceramic wrap around his car that stopped the handles from popping out.
Having no manual locks/unlocks on the inside of the doors is crazy.

It's just like any other car, if the door is locked on a civic or Camry or whatever, you can't open from outside but you smash the door glass and open the door with mechanical handle which every Tesla has
