A game being multiplatform doesn't not mean it has a high chance to win. Last of us part 2 swept the 2020 awards and it was strictly ps4. I think god of war will edge out elden ring cause of GOW being out recently and being more accessible to players being able to adjust the difficulty. Lots of people kinda bailed elden ring when they found out how hard it was
Xenoblade 3 actually got nominated and that's insane. Just getting nominated itself is amazing. Huge win for monolithsoft
Actually it's not user voted, the weightage is just 10% I think. The main decision relies on a jury.
