  2. All things considered Korund being A tier armor is not good proposition for newbs.

10kg, 20% movement penalty, – 9% turn speed and – 10 ergo, along with ~63 points of effective protection.. its just bad. Glorified paper lvl 5 imo.

It just repairs well, nothing else.

  3. I liked the part where he said its harder to get high pen ammo. As a low level and new to the game I am afraid to run around cause of higher levels with guns and ammo that can 1 tap all my armors.

  4. I disagree on the 6B43, that combined with rys-t has helped me survive so many hackers on shoreline and customs, I swear by them and are relatively cheap barters. Nothing beats shrugging off cheap rounds only to have a hacker sweating beads trying to reload while you rush his ass.

  5. So, im conflicted, the strandhogg and the mmac are both lv 4, one is aluminum and the other is poly, but the mmac protects only thorax, and the hogg protects thorax and stomach, is lighter, is only slightly more expensive depending on the price of fabrics at the time, has 3-3 vertical mag slots, and 1-4 mag slot, making it the only viable contender to the alpha rig (unarmored) for running long mags like 100s or 45s, also it makes it a cheaper option to run drums as opposed to needing an M1 alpha rig or even a tv-110. I'd say they're both A tier, but the hogg edges out the mmac for those reasons.

  6. Reasons why I disagree with this video:
You can just buy a Kirasa at lvl2 Ragman…..
Rating Paca, 3M and the other lvl2 armor the same is absurd, lvl 2 is useful against many rounds including high damage like RIP
2 of the most commonly run lvl 4 armors in the game are apparently basically useless according to this list but a lvl4 ceramic rig is mid tier
You literally mentioned that an armor being more likely to be looted off your body also makes it superior
Availability is given about 10% of the value to overall score that reparability is, even though death will remove the potential for repair at least in the short term

  7. Trooper top tier? instantly ignore the list haha along with the other shitty tier 4 armour

I kill people who have 60+HP left on their trooper ALL THE TIME, i never have ever had the trooper had below 30hp because you just die before the durability matters AT ALL.

Past a certain point durability means fuck all and ontop of that it's expensive af and doesn't cover stomach!

  8. Great video. While it's not static I think providing some figures on the net cost of the trades or current market value would be helpful. Net cost will also determine which armor you use sometimes more than repairability, given not everyone is running > 60% survival. I use tarkov market to figure out the best bang for buck trades 🙂

  9. This is a really solid list and some things were pointed out to me that I never really took in to consideration. My only two gripes are that I think the Gzhel should be a tier higher simply because it's level 5, it's light, it protects both chest and stomach (which a lot of people don't realize), and is so easily obtainable. Secondly, with the MMAC at 40 max dura I dont think it should be higher than the TV-110 with 85 dura… plus the TV-110 has the double 4 slot and is one of the easiest armors to barter for in the entire game. If the USEC and MMAC are S tier then so is the TV-110 in my eyes.

Also, the Redut can be bought for cash from Ragman level 3 🙂

  10. I agree with everything but the Thor armor. It has the same durability stats as the 6b3tm because Thor is combined materials and 6b3tm is Titan. Just because the durability number is lower doesn't make it worse. However, lower numbers are better when it comes to movement, turn speed, and ergo. Thor armor has -4 movement, -4 turn , -2 ergo. The 6b3tm has -10, -5, -15. You save money with the 6b3tm, but at huge cost of ergo. I think you should have these two armors switched around.

  11. I love how you always go 'gotta pay the bills' instead of shoving a cheesy Ad in there. Most of the time I skip these sections but that teeny bit of transparency makes it not annoying anymore 10/10 content

  12. second day of the wipe i found a Hexgrid at giving tree. waited a month to use it, finally said fuck it and brought it into an interchange, not even a min into the game and i get killed by a cheater. I know it was a cheater becuase after he killed me , he teleported behind my friend watching my body and said " hey Foxy, look behind you" and then shot my friend. Lesson of the day boys, dont go in raid with good shit.

  13. Awesome video. I never thought of the idea that having the stomach or arms being covered is actually detrimental to thorax protection. That's super smart.
1.I do think that you focus too heavily on the weight of the armor. Sure the ergo and movement debuff sucks, but who really cares if its 7kg or 9kg. Better protection is more important. Plus everyone has mules nowadays with the injector case.
    2. UHMWP (Poly) is the most repairable armor- more so than steel.

  14. I think the Thor should be in c tier. It's actually a decent armor if you use it and it's not too expensive. It's actually my goto budget armor if I'm down bad. It can also take more than one hit
