  1. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with Dave a few times back in the early 2000s before he was super big. He even gave me and my biz partners a personal tour of the office back then which was over behind the mall.

20 years later, following his advice turned me into a debt free millionaire. So I’ll say his stuff works. Plus the relief that comes from not having had any payments in quite some time is so freeing.

I found Graham last year and have enjoyed his shows! This was a great interview and discussion.

  2. I have been listening to Dave Ramsey daily since 2019. In 2022, I found Graham Stephan, and have watched every episode of the Iced Coffee Hour. I am happy to see Graham and Dave on the same stage. Best video of the year by far.

  3. I have to say between this interview and the Patrick David one are now my two favorite podcasts the team has done. Only element missing would have been the Alex, but maybe that would have added to much for one show.

  4. @1:02:00 listen to how casually capitalists play with your life. He freely admits he raises the rent just to crush you psychologically. It’s NOT even about money for these people, it’s about lording the power over you. Keeping regular people beneath them. You wonder why people turn to socialism, it’s because you turn to feudalism..

  5. Absolutely great video! This has been something I've been wanting and waiting to see to a long time, both financially successful with different views on debt and credit cards but hugely respectful of each others views.

  6. Its so cool to see you interacting with Ramsey like this. Lots of people in this field look up to him and what he has built but so few get acknowledged or get to host him like this. Great work guys!

  7. Ramsey is out of touch with what millennials deal with financially today. I say this as a huge Dave Ramsey fan. He changed my life. But his views on credit is a bit extreme and somewhat false. Especially today.

  8. I remember my parents listening to Dave on the radio when I was a kid. I grew up on food stamps as the son of a landscaper and public school teacher. We were dead broke. Now my dad co owns $10+M landscaping distribution company and I'm already a multi millionaire by the age of 30 working construction. I don't agree with Dave on quite a bit, but I know myself and my family owe him a great deal of gratitude.

  9. @Graham Stephan reads all the comments, so here is a constructive comment.

First, loved this, been waiting for years to see it.

Now the criticism; You did the same stupid interview thing that Ben Shapiro does where you assume no one know who the insanely famous person you sitting with is, and need to waste an hour on back story.

Seriously, the very best of this was the last ten minutes. You know it! You know that was the money shot that will be clipped and seen 1MM+ times and shared and other people making videos commenting about.

It was the best because it wasn't "Question/Answer". It may have started with a comment, but it was a conversation. Y'all could have continued that conversation for another hour.

Also, disagreement is more interesting than agreement between friends/ like minded people. (Finding agreement/"common ground" is interesting between those in opposition, but you have to first establish the opposition.) You and Dave Ramsey disagree on debt (just like you and Kevin O'Leary), that conversation is the most interesting subject to cover.

If you want better interview content, get into the disagreement earlier. Like maybe 10 minutes of "who, what, how". Then "here is where we differ, I want to understand your reasoning and I want to convey my reasoning". That's a conversation. That's what makes Joe Rogan #1. That's what makes Jordan Peterson a rating boom wherever he goes.

P.S. On the line that Dave appeared to be trying to convey before the clock ran out; Graham Stephan is the outlier. He's the maybe 0.1% of the population that doesn't spend more with plastic, and can get a loan without over buying, and will actually hold the liquidable safe cash instead of spending it. The other 99.9% of the population is making up all the statistics that Dave was referencing.
Also probably a third of the population thinks they are the exception not the rule, just go watch old reruns of American Idol.
