From terrifying Tyrannosaurus to Yeti-like monkey men, and everything in between, this is the Fauna of Primal.
This video covers all major characters, animals, and otherwise alive creatures from the first season of Genndy Tartakovsky’s ‘Primal’.
I do not own any characters, clips, or artwork from this video. They belong to the copyright holders.
This video was made to celebrate the 1 Year anniversary of this channel. It’s been a fantastic journey so far, and I’m excited to see what the future holds. Thank you all so much for being alongside me for it.
You all mean the world to me.
Thank you,

A magical liopleuridon
Night feeder and the infected camerasaur were the most terrifying of this bunch (sorry for spelling
I would love to see the the zombies so how does it? It's a zombie that's all we know it's I would love to see more zombies
Please do a video on fauna in pellucidar in the Tarzan lore.
Where is part 2???
Ngl, Primal brings out that inner child of wanting a Tyrannosaurus as a companion but better!
Something I will never get is that Mira got kidnapped by monkey men but the was being enslaved by Vikings in season 2 like wth happened during those events like at first I thought that I was crazy and only imagined them being monkeys (Because I watched season 1 way before season 2 came out)
I know you like dinosaurs. That’s why I’m subbed but you need to watch The Meg 2 movie trailer. It is 🔥 and it’s got lots of Dino’s
What are the musics you used for this videos and the others (like the ones you used for the first Skull Island video which I think were the sames than in this one) ?
You don't credits them in the video description, yet can tell you, believed me, it's something very recommanded see obligatory to do, if you don't want your videos to be demonitized or stricked for copyright issues. Because if you don't credits the musics somewhere inside onscreen or in the description of the video, people can think it's from you yet i's from others authors.
That an amical advice of course.
Otherwise that was a very good video about the subject !
That was a very good video !
However, there some notes that must be put forward:
1 – Fang isn't smaller than a normal T-rex. The way she is is the normal size standar for her Tyrannosaurid species in the world of Primal. In Primal world universe, the prehistoric animals aren't how they are in our real-life, in this universe, if they look retro or innacurate for the versions of our reality, in the reality of the universe of primal, they are all normally like that.
2 – Every sapient/sophont beings depicted in this show are equally as intelligents, it's just that depending of the beings in question, following their cultures or the surrounding settings, they act more or less brutally like animals.
The Hungry Hominid of Episode 4 act more like apes because they lived in an areas they can't leave and where there almost no food, so they act more like animals because they are desperate.
One of them, after seeing Spear rescuing one of his tribe member despite being unrelated to them, for free, will even wait and give again the weapon spear to Spear that will allow him to fight the bats.
Showning that they are as self-aware than others humans and will help in return in acknowledgment to the help they received from others.
The two Apes Men tribes act as animals because there culture turn essentially around violence and resolves everything in blood and death. Outside that they are as equally intelligents.
The Primitives Witches tribe is also equally intelligent, it's jsut they use magic for almost everything and attack human to made babies for their own survival.
Many animals are also clearly sapients and as equally intelligent than humans.
Fang, the Horned T-rexes, the Mammoths and the mad Sauropod before being infected are as equally sapient than humans, as their facial expressions and their actions show it completely.
If they don't act like human and continue to act and live as typical non-sapient animals, it's just because they haven't obligation to do so. They don't use tools because their anatomy don't really allow them to use tools but in the same time made the use of tools uselless for them to accomplish actions and for survived in the wild.
Outside that, that was a video really well-made ! 🙂
Kulindadromeus is ornithopod
The creature was excited to hear the most was the night feeder just because I think it’s very cool and shows how strong some of these more monsters creatures can be just like the plague of madness
8:07 I got an old spice commercial while this was being said..
THE MANBATS DEPEND ON THE GREAT SMELL OF OLD SPI-
The night feeder was the compy from earlier in the episode. It uses the goo from the apemen to kill big prey then eat the bugs that are attracted to the corpses
Here’s a lil fact you guys might or might not know:
The human body is capable of incredible feats of strength. We could bite our fingers clean off our brains didn’t restrict us.
Now imagine that unrestricted potential but put into the perspective of a brain dead giant sauropod hellbent on spreading its death plague.
Something that big with no limits has huge potential for massive damage. Chilling stuff…
There is a season two of primal, make a video of it
Spear? Fang? They had names this whole time 😮
I want the Meg
Nice. Those horned Rex's are terrifying especially the alpha, but those won't even come close to the terror that Mama Scarface from Turok 2008 gave, that Rex is MASSIVE and if I remember it correctly it's the same, if not bigger then the alpha horned Rex. And that game has it's other terrifyingly large and overpowered monsters , I recommend you to check that game out (if you can of course, cause it took me hours to find a proper site to download it from)
You should do the fauna of the croods
THE APATASAUR IS SCARY MAN WHEN I WAS 10 IT GAVE ME NIGHTMARES AND MADE ME NEVER WATCH PRIMAL AGAIN, but now I think it both cool and scary
When will you do season 2?
Imagine A megalodon or some sort of Prehistoric shark being introduced
4:30 I still think that that the large Horned Rex was the adult and the three smaller ones were juveniles.
I wonder if he should the animals from the croods from DreamWorks
FYI: Titular characters means their names are the title of the series. E.G. Spider-Man is the titular character of the Spider-Man comic series. However, Ironman is not the titular character of Avengers comics.
Ergo, Fang and Spear are not the titular characters of Primal.
One thing I enjoy about Fang is how she's the emodiment of art over consistency. Her size changes WIDLY from shot to shot because they go "does this shot work better with her being big as a horse or big as a tyrannosaurus or as big as a movie monster. Like every human fight she's big enough to swallow dozens whole, and in one shot a bear that was as big as her last episode fits neatly into her mouth
Opinion. Its wrong to try to think of Primal as prehistoric, but more like prehistoric*FANTASY.* 1- Obviously dinos and humans didn't existed together. 2- Spear is SHORTER than humans(or the creators didn't decided his official height). 3- Magic and supernatural stuff. 4- T Rex(Fang, supposedly) are not that small.
Anyway, great show, let's enjoy it and speculating.
Primal needs an amazing videogame.
Allosaurus
Bro the last episode of s2 and the last seconds was bussen
DO A PART 2
Should have a list of dinosaur videos that you watched and like?
Fun fact: Neanderthals was humans too
