It is very unlikely that your Lorac palettes molded. Matte eyeshadow powders just don’t grow mold. Sometimes shimmers with a lot of glycerin can mold in humid climates, but that’s very rare. It’s more likely to be the eyeshadow equivalent of bloom, ie waxes separating, or some other separation of ingredients.
Not that I’m saying you should use them when they look like that, but consumers always think everything is mold and it’s just rarely/never the case in dry powders.

Hey Lauren! This was so great to watch! I wanted to mention for the “is it wax bloom or mold” issue, one of my beauty friends on IG was putting a palette on a warm surface to see if it was wax because if it is, the warmth should melt it back or it should “disappear” and if it doesn’t seem to melt back, it’s definitely mold. I think that’s a great way to check what it is without touching it. I’ve seen some people suggest grabbing some of the white things and if it melts with the warmth of your hands it’s wax but I think that’s risky. The hot surface/plate seems safer to me, just make sure not to melt your palette! 😅
I think the new Viseart quads have the prettiest shimmer formula that Viseart has done 🙂 I bought the Lapis quad just to have a light, shimmery blue to wear when the mood strikes since I do not wear blue very often. The gold in that quad is pretty spectacular too. Right now Viseart & Sydney Grace are my go-to shadows & what I have most of. I like the versatility of magnetic removable pans to curate my own perfect color stories. I have duped most of the premade palettes I thought I was interested in with SG, Viseart & all my assorted singles. Saves me $$$$ & inspires new color combos that I wouldn't normally think of.

I’m a nerd and the Jubilee palette has a place in my heart. It’s the beautiful spring palette I’ve used and also it’s the x-men Jubilee colors. My dog’s name is Jubilee and I have a place in my heart for that palette and huge fan of of that size.
